Next up, I stumbled upon a police briefing from 1987. May 11, 1987, to be exact. Ogden City Police, talking about Cary’s arrest. They showed his mugshot. Seeing that picture, it just makes you think, what kind of person does such things?

And the rabbit hole just kept getting deeper. I found a report about a missing woman in Las Vegas back in 1985. Her car turned up behind a casino. In November, no less. Now, I don’t know if this is related to Cary, but the timeline is in the 80’s just like when he was active.
Sheree Warren
- This name popped up a lot. Sheree Warren.
- Her headstone says she’s still missing.
- That’s just sad, you know? A missing person, no closure for the family.
I also found some names of people involved in the case back then:
- Halvor Bailey, a deputy who helped arrest Cary in 1971.
- Jack Bell, a Roy police detective.
There was also something about a mysterious phone call. Someone called, saying they knew where a body was but wouldn’t give clear directions. Then they hung up when they were put on hold. This was around Ogden, where Cary was known to operate.
Honestly, the whole thing is a mess. It’s like trying to put together a puzzle, but some pieces are missing, and others might not even belong to the same picture.
