Man, today I wanna talk about something that happened to me recently. It’s about this dude, Dusty Slay, doing a gig in Tulsa. Yeah, you heard that right, Dusty Slay in Tulsa!

So, it all started when I saw this announcement, “Save the date for Dusty Slay!” I was like, “Dusty Slay? That guy from the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival? In Tulsa? No way!” I’ve been following this guy for a while, ever since he killed it at that festival back in 2018. I heard he used to be a waiter and sold pesticides before he got into comedy, which is kinda wild if you think about it.

Anyway, I immediately started looking for tickets. I found a couple of listings. One was for a show at the Bricktown Comedy Club on February 16th at 7:30 pm. Another was at some place on 5982 S Yale Ave on February 15th at 9:30 pm. Then there was another one for an 18+ event at Bricktown Comedy Club on February 17th. I was like, “Dude, this guy is booked solid!”

I decided to grab tickets for the February 17th show. It said “18+ Event,” and I figured, “Why not? I could use a good laugh.” The process was pretty straightforward. I just picked the show, chose my seats, and paid. It was easy as pie.

But then I found out Dusty was also gonna be at The Loony Bin in Tulsa, opening for Jason Russell with Hannah Hogan hosting. I thought about going to that show too, but I didn’t want to overdo it. Plus, I already had my tickets for the Bricktown show.

So, the day finally came. I got to the venue, and the atmosphere was buzzing. People were excited, you could feel it. The show started, and man, Dusty was hilarious! He’s got this blue-collar storytelling style that’s just so relatable. He talked about his life, his observations, growing up in Opelika, Alabama – it was all so real and funny.

  • First, I saw the announcement and got excited.
  • Then, I searched for and bought tickets online.
  • I found out about another show but decided to stick with my original plan.
  • Finally, I attended the show, and it was a blast!

It was a great night. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. It was definitely worth the money. If you ever get a chance to see Dusty Slay live, do it. You won’t regret it. That’s my story about how I saw Dusty Slay in Tulsa. It was a random, fun adventure, and I’m glad I did it.
