[Body]

Alright, so you wanna know ’bout that Monarch show, episode six, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s a whole lotta fuss, just like them other episodes. But this one, this one’s got somethin’ special, somethin’ that makes ya scratch yer head and say, “Well, I’ll be darned.”

First off, we got them young folks, Billy and Keiko, always gettin’ into trouble. They’re runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off, and that big ol’ lizard, Godzilla, ain’t helpin’ none. This time, they run smack-dab into a giant bat-lookin’ thing. Scared the bejeebers outta me, I tell ya. It’s roarin’ and carryin’ on, and them kids are just standin’ there like they ain’t never seen a monster before. Luckily, that fella Lee, the one who’s old and young at the same time, which don’t make a lick o’ sense to me, but that’s how them city folks do things I guess. Anyway, he shows up and saves their hides. Good thing, too, ’cause them kids wouldn’t last a minute on their own. I tell ya kids these days, always needin’ someone to bail ’em out.

Now, this show, it jumps around more than a frog on a hot skillet. One minute you’re with the young folks, the next you’re with the old fella Lee. It’s kinda confusin’, if you ask me, but I guess that’s how they tell the story. This Lee fella, he’s been chasin’ these monsters for a long time, ever since he was a young whippersnapper. And now, he’s gotta deal with these young’uns and their mess. He’s played by that Kurt Russell fella, you know, the one with the pretty hair. He’s good, real good, even if he’s a bit old now. Makes me think about the good old days, when things were simpler.

They say this show is all about somethin’ called “Monarch,” some kinda group that studies these monsters. Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me, but them city folks like their fancy names and organizations. They got all this technology and gizmos, but still, them monsters keep stompin’ around, causin’ trouble. Makes ya wonder what they’re really accomplishin’, you know?

  • The young folks are always in trouble
  • Lee keeps savin’ their bacon
  • There’s lots of flashbacks
  • Big monsters, big roars

This episode, episode six, it’s got a lot of heart, though. You see these folks, they’re scared, but they’re also brave. They’re fightin’ for somethin’, even if I can’t quite figure out what it is. And that Lee fella, he’s got a past, a real sad one. You see it in his eyes, all that pain and regret. Makes you wanna give him a hug, even if he’d probably just grumble and walk away.

They also talk about the big lizard, Godzilla, like he’s some kinda hero. But I don’t know about that. He’s big and strong, sure, but he’s also destructive. He smashes buildin’s and stomps on cars, just like them other monsters. Seems to me, they’re all just a bunch of trouble, no matter how ya slice it.

And that ending, oh boy, that ending. It leaves ya hangin’, just like them soap operas my granddaughter watches. You wanna know what happens next, but you gotta wait a whole ‘nother week. It’s enough to drive a body crazy, I tell ya.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a show with lots of action, big monsters, and a bit of a mystery, then this Monarch thing might be right up your alley. Just be prepared for some confusion and a whole lotta jumpin’ around. And don’t expect it to make a whole lotta sense, ’cause honestly, half the time I don’t know what’s goin’ on. But hey, it’s entertainment, right? Keeps you from thinkin’ about the real problems in the world, like them darn weeds in my garden or the price of eggs these days.

Overall, this episode six is a good one. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, even if you’re not entirely sure what’s happening. And that Kurt Russell, he’s a treat to watch. So go ahead, give it a watch, but don’t blame me if you end up scratchin’ your head more than a dog with fleas.

There are 10 episodes all together, and they’re long, almost an hour each. That’s a lot of TV watching, if you ask me. Don’t these folks have anything better to do?

This whole show started after that big lizard, Godzilla, attacked back in 2014. I remember hearin’ about that on the news. Scared the pants off me, I tell ya. But seein’ it on TV is different, somehow. Makes it seem less real, ya know? Maybe that’s why them city folks like watchin’ this stuff, so they can feel scared without actually bein’ in danger. I don’t get it, myself.

Anyway, that’s my take on this Monarch episode six. It ain’t fancy, but it’s honest. Just like me.
