Okay, so I’ve been on a real quest lately, trying to find something to fill that “Legend of the Seeker”-shaped hole in my TV-watching life. You know, that mix of epic fantasy, adventure, and a little bit of magic thrown in? I started by just asking around my friends, like, “Hey, what’s good that’s like ‘Legend of the Seeker’?” Most of them just shrugged, but one buddy did mention “The Wheel of Time.”
So, I gave “The Wheel of Time” a shot. I dove into some forums and it seems like it’s been a big deal in the fantasy book world for like 30 years or something crazy like that.

But, I’m always on the lookout for more. I started looking everywhere. There are these websites, you know, where they list a bunch of shows and movies and you can see what people are saying about them. One of them mentioned finding over 50 similar shows! But mostly just about the plot about some girl named Dorothy and a tornado. Sounds interesting but not what I’m looking for right now.
Another site listed the actors from “Game of Thrones”. I mean, sure, “Game of Thrones” is fantasy, but it’s a whole different beast, very dark and complex. And I even stumbled upon some site that lets you browse through the careers of like a million actors and directors. Kinda cool, but also overwhelming. No luck there either.

- I want something with epic quests and supernatural powers.
- I’m checking out suggestions from friends and online sources.
Then there’s this animated show on Netflix, made by the same people who did “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” I heard it has a similar vibe to “Legend of the Seeker,” so that’s definitely going on my list.
I also found these other websites that let you type in a show you like, and it gives you a list of similar ones. So I typed in “Legend of the Seeker,” and… well, the results were kind of all over the place. But hey, at least it gave me some ideas to check out, right? It seems to be popular on various media. Some I will probably skip but others are worth a shot.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at in my quest for a new show. It’s been a bit of a journey, but I’m determined to find something that captures that same magic and adventure that I loved in “Legend of the Seeker.” I’ll keep you all posted!
