Alright, so listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this fella, RJ Stern, and where he’s playing football. Heard tell he’s gonna be at somethin’ called Tusculum University. Never heard of it myself, but hey, if the boy’s playin’ ball, that’s all that matters, right?
Now, this here RJ, he’s a wide receiver, you know, one of them fellas who catches the ball. They say he’s pretty good, fast and all. He’s 5-11, 185 pounds, which sounds kinda small, but I reckon he’s got some grit. Comes from Oakland, they say. Tough place, Oakland. Gotta be tough to make it out there.
This whole thing, I heard about it on some TV show, somethin’ about “Last Chance.” See, these boys, they ain’t always had it easy. They gotta fight for everything they get. And this RJ, he was one of them. He was lookin’ for a chance, a place to play ball and get an education. And it looks like he found it at this Tusculum place.

Folks are sayin’ he’s gonna play until 2022. That’s a good long time. Means he’s got the talent and the drive. And that Tusculum University, it’s in Greenville, Tennessee. Never been to Tennessee myself. Heard it’s pretty, though. Lots of green hills and trees, not like the city I’m used to.
They say he got a full ride, too. That means they payin’ for him to go to school. That’s a big deal, y’all. Shows they believe in him. And they should! This boy’s been workin’ hard, puttin’ in the time. He deserves a chance to shine. I tell ya, it warms my heart to see a young fella get a break like that.
Now, I ain’t no football expert, but I know a good kid when I see one. And this RJ, he seems like a good kid. He’s got that look in his eye, that determination. He’s gonna make somethin’ of himself, you just wait and see. And that Tusculum University, they’re lucky to have him. They gonna get a good player and a good young man.
Heard he was talkin’ to some other schools too, big ones like CAL, but he picked Tusculum. Must be a good fit for him there. Division II school, they say. Not the biggest, but that don’t mean nothin’. Heart and hustle, that’s what matters. And from what I hear, this boy’s got plenty of both.
I’m gonna be watchin’ this RJ Stern fella, see how he does. Rootin’ for him, you know. He’s one of the good guys, workin’ hard to make a better life for himself. And that’s somethin’ worth celebratin’. So here’s to RJ Stern and Tusculum University. Go get ’em, son! Show ’em what you got!
I seen some videos of him, too, on somethin’ called Hudl. Boy can run, let me tell ya. Catches the ball real nice, too. They say he’s gonna be a star. Well, I don’t know about all that, but I reckon he’s gonna be a darn good player. And that’s good enough for me. He’s got the skills and he’s got the opportunity. Now it’s up to him to make the most of it.
So there you have it. RJ Stern, Tusculum University. Remember those names. You might just be hearin’ a lot more about ’em in the future. I know I will be. Gonna be keepin’ my eye on this young man. He’s goin’ places, I can feel it in my bones. And I’ll be cheerin’ him on every step of the way. You should too.
It makes a body feel good to see a young person gettin’ ahead in this world. It ain’t easy these days. But with a little hard work and a little luck, anything is possible. And this RJ Stern, he’s proof of that. He’s a good example for all the young folks out there. Work hard, stay focused, and never give up on your dreams.
