Okay, so let’s talk about these Tik Pik things I tried out. I saw some buzz about them online and figured, why not give ’em a shot? I mean, I’m always losing my guitar picks anyway, so something that claims to stick to my guitar sounded pretty good.

First off, I went to the Tickpick website. Seemed pretty straightforward. They got this whole thing about nano-suction technology. Sounds fancy, right? Basically, it’s supposed to be like a bunch of tiny little suction cups that make the pick stick to your guitar without any sticky gunk.

I ordered a few, and they arrived pretty quick. The packaging was nothing special, just your standard stuff. I gotta say, I was a little skeptical when I first saw them. They just looked like regular picks, nothing too crazy.

But here’s the thing, they actually work! I stuck one on my acoustic guitar, and it stayed put. I even shook the guitar around a bit (maybe a little too hard), and the pick didn’t budge. Pretty cool, huh?

  • I tried them on a few different guitars, both acoustic and electric, and they stuck to all of them just fine.
  • I also tested how easy it was to remove and re-stick them, and that worked like a charm too. No residue or anything left behind on the guitar’s finish.

I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now, and I haven’t lost a single pick yet! That’s a new record for me, haha. Plus, it’s kinda handy to just have your pick stuck right there on your guitar whenever you need it. They also started showing up at Guitar Center stores all over, according to their website.

Apparently, they even got the BBB accreditation, which is always nice to know.

Now, they’re not perfect. I did notice that they can get a little dusty after a while, which kinda messes with the stickiness. But you can just wipe ’em off, and they’re good as new. They also have reviews on their website and I read those, which were also good.

Overall

I’d say these Tik Piks are worth checking out if you’re like me and you’re always misplacing your picks. They’re not a life-changer or anything, but they definitely do what they say they do. Plus, it’s just kinda fun to have a pick that magically sticks to your guitar. They said that they had started working with D’Andrea, which is a company that has been making guitar picks for a long time, which is also pretty impressive.

Two thumbs up from me!
