Alright, so I recently dived back into “The Glory” and focused on episode 10. Man, things are really heating up! I started by just casually watching, you know, to refresh my memory on the storyline.
First off, I was struck by how Yeon-jin is such a piece of work. I spent some time rewatching scenes where she threatens Hyeon-nam. It’s crazy how she discovered Hyeon-nam’s involvement with Dong-eun. That actress really nails the whole evil vibe, seriously. It makes you wonder how anyone can be so cruel.
Then, I moved on to Yeo-jeong’s parts. This guy is smart, I gotta give him that. He’s figuring out a way to get the truth out of Yeon-jin. Watching him scheme was pretty interesting. I took some notes on how he operates, thinking maybe I could learn a thing or two about strategy from him, haha.
The prison twist
- Next, I noticed something major: Dong-eun and Yeo-jeong both end up working at the prison where Yeong-cheon is. That’s wild!
- Dong-eun is a teacher, and Yeo-jeong is a doctor. This setup is insane because it means Dong-eun is basically going to become Yeo-jeong’s “executioner.”
- I spent a good chunk of time going over those scenes, pausing and rewinding, trying to soak in all the details.
And the ending? I rewatched it like three times! They finally admit they love each other. It’s a long time coming, and it’s a powerful moment. It got me thinking about how long they’ve been on this crazy journey together, and how much they’ve been through. It’s wild.
Remembering Myeong-oh
I also went back to the previous episode to refresh my memory on Myeong-oh’s death. I realized I had kind of forgotten when it happened. It was in episode 11, in a flashback to October 19th. I watched that part again, seeing Myeong-oh realize he’s dying. It’s such a heavy scene, and it set a lot of things in motion for the rest of the series.
Thinking about the future
All of this got me thinking about what’s going to happen next. I mean, Dong-eun is also dealing with her old homeroom teacher, Kim Jong-mun. Remember how she gave him those lilies? And he died from an asthma attack? That’s some cold revenge right there. It makes me wonder what else she’s got planned.I feel like things will get worse when the kid is in elementary school.
Anyway, that’s my deep dive into “The Glory” episode 10. I spent hours on this, and honestly, I’m even more hooked now. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
