The Chad Graves Story: Discover the Married to Evil Mystery!

Okay, so picture this: I stumbled upon this crazy idea, “Chad Graves Married to Evil.” Sounds like a cheesy horror flick, right? But it got my brain buzzing. I had to try and make something out of it. So, I grabbed my notebook and started brainstorming.

The Idea Dump

First, I needed to figure out who Chad Graves even is. Is he a hapless dude? A secret monster hunter? I jotted down a bunch of random ideas:

  • Chad: Maybe he’s, like, super ordinary. Works at a bank. Wears khakis.
  • Evil: What kind of evil are we talking? Demonic possession? A cursed bride? A literal embodiment of, I don’t know, bad vibes?
  • The Marriage: Shotgun wedding? Arranged marriage by evil cultists? Did he accidentally sign a contract in blood?

I decided to go with the “ordinary dude” route for Chad. Makes it funnier, I think. And for the “Evil,” I figured, why not a literal demon bride? Let’s make this a dark comedy.

Fleshing It Out

Next, I started sketching out a rough scene. I imagined Chad coming home from work, completely oblivious to his wife’s demonic nature. He’s complaining about his boss, and she’s casually levitating pots and pans while making dinner. Totally normal stuff.

I wrote a few lines of dialogue, just to get a feel for the characters:

Chad: “Honey, you won’t believe what Mr. Henderson said today. He actually told me my tie was ‘too vibrant.’ Too vibrant! What does that even mean?”

Evil Wife (maybe I’ll call her…Brenda?): ” (in a voice that cracks the plaster on the walls) “Patience, mortal. Soon, the world will tremble before our combined might. Also, dinner’s almost ready. It’s…goat.”

See? Comedy gold. (Maybe.)

The Experiment

I spent a good few hours just messing around with this. I did some quick character sketches of Chad – think bewildered middle-management guy – and Brenda – your classic horned, red-eyed demon, but wearing an apron. It was a good way to visualize it.

Then I created a comic-style drawing of Chad coming home to his demon wife and started a conversation between them.

The Takeaway (So Far)

This whole “Chad Graves Married to Evil” thing started as a joke, but it’s actually a pretty fun creative exercise. It’s a reminder that even the silliest ideas can turn into something interesting if you just roll with it. I haven’t decided if I’ll turn this into a full-blown story or comic or whatever, but it’s definitely sparked some inspiration. Maybe I’ll even try animating a short scene. Who knows! The possibilities are endless, and probably slightly demonic.
