I started watching “D.P.” a while back, and season 1 just blew me away. The whole military desertion thing, the drama, it was intense. Naturally, I jumped right into season 2 when it came out. I gotta say, it started a bit slow.
- Episode 2, for instance, we see Ho-yeol, this guy, he’s remembering how he saved Ru-ri from bullies, but the dude is in the hospital now. Flashbacks and present-day stuff, it took a bit to get into it. I mean, I was watching, but I wasn’t hooked yet.
But then, man, episode 6 rolled around, and bam! Things got crazy. I had to finish it in one go. It was late at night, but I was glued to the screen. Sung-woo, this character, he’s holding Jun-ho hostage. It’s like, everything’s coming to a head. Sung-woo is all messed up because he got kicked out of the military, and he blames Jun-ho. It was wild! They got some real ending stuff in there as well.
I was thinking about the whole season. The ending hit hard. So I did what any normal person would do – I went online to see what others were saying. I found these random snippets, and these people online they’re talking about the real ending and breaking it down. It made me think even more about what I just watched, all the details, you know?
So, after finishing the whole thing, I’m sitting here, processing it all. I mean, it wasn’t perfect, and it took a minute to really get going. I even thought about stopping, but I’m glad I didn’t.
