I started watching, and initially, it was your typical fish-out-of-water story. Jackie, this city girl, is thrown into this chaotic household, and it’s kinda funny seeing her try to adapt. The Walter boys, each with their own distinct personalities, are a handful, to say the least. You got your brooding one, your jock, your sweet one, and so on. It was interesting to see how Jackie interacted with each of them, trying to find her place in this new, overwhelming environment.
As I kept watching, I found myself getting attached to the characters. Jackie’s struggle with grief, her attempts to fit in, and her growing relationships with the Walter boys – it all felt so real. I cried with her, laughed with her, and even got frustrated with her at times. The show did a great job of portraying the complexities of grief and how it can affect a person’s life in different ways.

- Parker: A girl, but hangs with the boys.
I even jotted down some notes about each episode, you know, just to keep track of all the drama and the love triangles – oh boy, the love triangles! It was like a soap opera but in a good way. I could see why people were so hooked on this show.
In the end, I finished the whole season in like, two days. Yeah, I was that invested. It was a bit cheesy at times, but overall, it was a heartwarming and enjoyable watch. It made me think about family, loss, and the importance of finding your place in the world. And let’s be real, who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by a bunch of cute, albeit chaotic, brothers?
