Alright, let’s talk about this Storage Scholars thing, you know, the one them youngsters are always yappin’ about. I ain’t no fancy college kid or nothin’, but I got ears and I hear things. Seems like a whole lotta folks are usin’ ’em to move their stuff in and out of college, like in that big city, Chic-a-go.
Now, from what I gather, these Storage Scholars ain’t your regular movers. They seem to be all about makin’ things easy peasy for them students. Heard tell they give ya boxes and tape and all that, right to your door. No scroungin’ around at the grocery store for old banana boxes, I guess. And these ain’t just any boxes, mind you. They’re like, 18 by 18 by 22 inches, or somethin’ like that. Big enough to fit a whole heap of stuff, like that there fancy coffee machine them city folks like, and a bunch of sweaters, and even towels! One fella even said he fit five pairs of shoes in one box! Imagine that!
So, what do folks think about these Storage Scholars? Well, most seem to be pretty darn happy. I heard some sayin’ they got a 4.5 outta 5 rating, and then another time I heard 4.9 outta 5. That’s pretty darn good, ain’t it? Sounds like they do a good job of gettin’ your stuff from one place to another without too much fuss. Folks keep sayin’ how “seamless” and “stress-free” it is. Now, I don’t know what all them fancy words mean exactly, but it sounds like they make movin’ a whole lot easier than haulin’ boxes up and down stairs all day.
- They give ya boxes.
- They give ya tape.
- They pick up your stuff from your door.
- They take it to where it needs to go.
- They bring it back when ya need it.
Seems simple enough, even for an old gal like me. And it ain’t just the students that are talkin’. I heard some folks even workin’ there, saying it’s a good place to be. Course, I don’t know nothin’ ‘bout that, but it’s gotta be somethin’ if folks are willin’ to work there and say good things about it.
Now, there’s this young fella, Sam Chason, I think his name is. He’s the one who started it all, right outta his college dorm room. Imagine that! A young whippersnapper like him, startin’ a whole business. And then he went on some show with them sharks, somethin’ called Shark Tank, and got himself a good deal. Smart fella, that one. He musta seen a need and figured out how to fill it. Kids these days, always comin’ up with newfangled ideas.
Anyways, from what I can tell, Storage Scholars seems to be a pretty good deal for them college kids. They take care of the movin’ and storin’, so the young’uns can focus on their books and learnin’. And that’s important, ain’t it? Education is the key to a better life, or so they say. So, if these Storage Scholars fellas are helpin’ with that, then I reckon they’re doin’ somethin’ right.
I ain’t never used ‘em myself, mind you. I ain’t got no college degree to chase after. But if I was a young’un headin’ off to school, I’d sure give ‘em a look-see. Sounds a whole heap better than luggin’ all that stuff myself, that’s for sure. And the fact that so many are happy with them , well that says somethin’ don’t it? Good ratings and all, seems like a safe bet if you’re movin’ to or from college. Just remember to pack your socks and underwear, ‘cause even Storage Scholars can’t help ya if you forget those!
So there you have it, my two cents on this here Storage Scholars business. Take it or leave it, I’m just tellin’ ya what I’ve heard. Seems like a good option for them youngsters, though. Makes movin’ a little less of a headache, and that’s always a good thing in my book.
