Now, I ain’t no fancy art critic or nothin’, but even I can see these pictures are somethin’ special. They say there’s over a thousand of ’em, from the startin’ sketches to the finished stuff. Imagine that! A thousand! That’s more chickens than I got in my coop, that’s for sure.
They call it “pre-production art,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but to me, it’s just pretty pictures. Lots of ’em are from that Song of the Sea movie, the one that won all them awards. I saw it on the TV once, pretty little thing it was, about a girl who could turn into a seal, I think.

This ain’t no little pamphlet, mind you. It’s a big, heavy book, full of pictures. You could probably use it to prop open a door, it’s that thick. But you wouldn’t wanna do that, would ya? Not with all them pretty pictures inside.

Now, I don’t know how much this book costs, but if you like this kind of thing, it’s probably worth it. I mean, a thousand pictures! That’s a lot of lookin’ for your money. And it ain’t just pictures neither. They say it shows how the movie got made, from the first idea to the final thing you see on the screen. That’s kinda neat, I guess.
