That Santa Clarita Diet, it’s a strange one. Never thought I’d see a show about a woman turnin’ into one of them… them things that eat people. Zombies, they call ’em. But it’s funny, too. That husband of hers, Joel, he sticks by her. Love, I guess. He helps her find people to eat. Not just anybody, mind you. Bad people. Still, it’s a bit much, ain’t it? But I watched it. Every single episode. It is one of my favorite shows, you know.
So, you want shows like Santa Clarita Diet? You like that mix of funny and, well, kinda gross? Okay, let me think. There’s this one, I don’t know the name. It has two women. They are also like Sheila and Joel. I mean, they are good friends. I think it is also on Netflix. The story has some twists and turns. You can find it and watch. It is a good one. I promise.
That Santa Clarita Diet, they stopped makin’ it. Three seasons, that’s all we got. Shame, really. I wanted to see what happened to Sheila and Joel. And that daughter of theirs, Abby. She was a good kid. Helped her mom out, even with the… you know… the eatin’. Family sticks together, I guess. Even when one of ’em starts eatin’ people. The three seasons are all good. Better and better, I would say.
You ever wonder what you’d do if your wife turned into a zombie? Would you help her find people to eat? I don’t know what I’d do. Probably faint dead away, to be honest. But Joel, he’s a good man. Stands by his woman. Even when she’s, well, you know. Dead and hungry. For people.
Here is what I think. If you are lookin’ for shows like Santa Clarita Diet, you can watch somethin’ with dark humor, you know. And somethin’ about family. There are a lot of them, you know.
- There’s one with a guy, he’s a robot or somethin’. Lots of folks like that one. I watched a little. It’s okay. I think it’s called Mr. Robot, or whatever. Lots of talkin’, though. And computer stuff. Not as much eatin’.
- Then there’s another one, don’t remember the name. But it’s got this family, they get into all sorts of trouble. Not zombie trouble, though. Just regular trouble. But it’s kinda funny. In a dark way. Like the Santa Clarita Diet.
- How about some old ones? There is one. It is about a family. They have lots of money, you know. But they lost it. And they have to move to a small town. It is funny, too.
These are just a few. You know, there is a lot of TV shows. Some are good. Some are bad. Some are weird like that Santa Clarita Diet. You just need to find them. And if you don’t like it, just find another one, you know. There are plenty of them, I think. Just gotta look. So many shows, so little time, right?
If you really like that Santa Clarita Diet, you’ll find somethin’ else you like. Just gotta keep lookin’. There’s always somethin’ new comin’ out. Maybe they’ll even make more of that zombie show.
