Alright, listen up, you young whippersnappers. Let me tell ya ’bout this Shoresy season 2, ya hear? It’s about hockey, that rough and tumble game them youngsters play, and this fella, Shoresy, he’s the main guy.
So, this season, Shoresy, he promised that Nat gal, the team’s big boss, that their team, the Bulldogs, wouldn’t lose a single game all season. And wouldn’t ya know it, the fella did it! They went and won every darn game, just like he said. Now, that Shoresy, he’s a bit of a firecracker, always stirrin’ up trouble. He got himself into a fight, right there in the stands, can ya believe it? But it helped the Bulldogs win, so I guess it was worth it. Course, they went and suspended him for the final game, the championship! Can you imagine?
But then, Shoresy, he pulled a fast one. He said he was retirin’ from hockey, see? Said that last game would be his very last. So they let him play after all. Smart fella, that Shoresy. Always thinkin’, just like my old man used to say, “Use your brain, not just your brawn,” he’d tell me.
- First off, they won all their games. Undefeated, they call it. Fancy, huh?
- Then Shoresy got into that fight, and got suspended, but then he retired, so he could play in the final game.
- And the big game, the championship, well, I won’t spoil it for ya, but it was a real nail-biter.
Now, this season, it’s on them streaming thingies, Crave and Hulu they call ‘em. Started in September on that Crave thing in Canada, and then in October on that Hulu thing in America. My grandson, he showed me how to watch it on his phone, imagine that! A whole TV show on somethin’ the size of my hand.
Shoresy season 2, it’s got six episodes, just like the first one. And they say there’s gonna be a season 3 and even a season 4! That Shoresy, he’s a popular fella. Folks like him, even though he’s always chirpin’ and causin’ a ruckus. Reminds me of my cousin Eddie, always gettin’ into scrapes, but he had a good heart, just like Shoresy I reckon. This season, they say it’s funny and sad, all mixed together. Just like life, ain’t it?
This show, it’s a spin-off from another show called Letterkenny. My grandson watches that one too. Says it’s funny, but I don’t get half of it. Too much talkin’ and not enough action for my taste. But Shoresy, that’s different. It’s got hockey, and fightin’, and Shoresy bein’ Shoresy. That’s enough for me.
They also talk about this “reddit” thing. Sounds like a bunch of folks gabbing about the show. My grandson’s always on it, but I ain’t got the time for that. I got chores to do and mouths to feed. But if you young’uns like that kinda thing, go on and give yer balls a tug and join ’em, whatever that means.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good show, something that’ll make ya laugh and maybe even shed a tear or two, then give Shoresy season 2 a try. It’s about winnin’, and losin’, and fightin’ for what you believe in. And it’s got that Shoresy fella, who’s always good for a laugh, even when he’s bein’ a pain in the rear end.
Now, I gotta go make some supper. But you kids, you enjoy yourselves. And remember, work hard, play hard, and don’t let nobody push you around. Just like Shoresy wouldn’t.
