Alright, let’s talk about this Luna Magic thing, you know, the one them TV sharks were lookin’ at. I heard tell it was on that “Shark Tank” show.
So, what’s the big deal with Luna Magic? Well, seems like it’s this makeup stuff, for fancy ladies and, well, everyone else too, I reckon. Them Frias sisters, Mabel and Shaira, they come on the TV, bold as brass, and say they makin’ this makeup for all sorts of folks. You know, not just them pale-faced girls you see in the magazines. They sayin’ it’s for everyone, every color, everythin’. Good for them, I say. Everyone deserves a little pretty-up, don’t they?
Now, them sharks, they always tryin’ to be smart, askin’ all sorts of questions about money and such. But these girls, they knew their stuff. They talk about how they makin’ this makeup, sellin’ it online, in stores. Target, Walmart, even that CVS place down the road, they all carryin’ it now, I hear. That’s a lot of lipstick and powder, let me tell ya.
And the money? Well, they sayin’ these girls are makin’ a pretty penny. Millions, they say! $1.7 million a year, or somethin’ like that. That’s more money than I ever seen in my whole life! Shoot, I can’t even imagine what you’d do with all that cash. Buy a whole lotta cows, I guess. Or maybe a new tractor. Them things ain’t cheap, you know.
But it ain’t just about the money, I reckon. These girls, they got a passion, they say. They want everyone to feel good about themselves, no matter what they look like. They usin’ their own family, their own heritage, to make somethin’ special. That’s what I call good work, makin’ somethin’ outta nothin’, makin’ folks feel good.
- They got this makeup in big stores now, like Walmart and Target.
- They makin’ a whole bunch of money, millions they say.
- Them Frias sisters, they seem like good girls, workin’ hard.
I tell ya, it ain’t easy runnin’ a business. You gotta be tough, you gotta be smart. And these girls, they seem to have both. They got that fire in their belly, that drive to make somethin’ of themselves. And they doin’ it, too. They showin’ the world what they made of, and they ain’t stoppin’ anytime soon, I betcha.
So, what happened after “Shark Tank”? Well, they still goin’ strong, that’s what. They ain’t one of them companies that disappears after the TV cameras leave. They buildin’ somethin’ real, somethin’ lastin’. That’s the kinda story I like to hear, folks makin’ good, doin’ good. And it sounds like this Luna Magic is here to stay.
It ain’t just about lipstick and powder, you see. It’s about more than that. It’s about feelin’ good, lookin’ good, and bein’ proud of who you are. And them Frias sisters, they helpin’ folks do just that, I reckon. Good on ’em, I say. Good on ’em.
This whole thing makes me think, you know. You work hard, you believe in yourself, and you can do anythin’. These girls, they proved it. They came from somewhere, just like the rest of us, and they made somethin’ outta themselves. That’s the American dream, ain’t it? Or maybe it’s just the human dream. Either way, it’s a good dream. And I’m glad to see them livin’ it.
So, next time you see that Luna Magic stuff in the store, you remember this story. Remember them Frias sisters and how they fought for their dream. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll pick up a little somethin’ for yourself, too. After all, everyone deserves a little pretty-up, don’t they? Even an old lady like me likes to feel fancy sometimes. Maybe I’ll go get me some of that Luna Magic stuff myself. Just gotta figure out what color looks good on an old hen like me!
