Well, let me tell ya ’bout this thing I heard, this Dapper Boi thing. It was on that Shark Tank show, you know, the one with all them rich folks. These two gals, Vicky and Charisse Pasche, they went on there with their clothes. Not just any clothes, mind you, but clothes for everyone, no matter if you’re a man or a woman or somethin’ in between. They call it “gender-neutral,” sounds fancy, huh?
The Shark Tank Pitch
So, these gals, they get on TV and tell the sharks about their Dapper Boi clothes. They got all sizes, big and small, for all sorts of folks. They said they wanted to make clothes that fit everybody good and make ’em feel comfortable. I reckon that’s a good thing, ain’t it? Too many clothes these days are too tight or too this or too that. But them sharks, they’re tough cookies. These ladies, Vicky and Charisse, they didn’t get no money from them sharks. Nope, not a single penny. Can ya believe it? The sharks, they just didn’t bite, I guess. Said somethin’ ’bout the business bein’ too risky or somethin’. Humph, what do they know anyways?
- The Dapper Boi folks went on Shark Tank.
- They make clothes for everybody, men, women, and everyone in between.
- The sharks didn’t give them any money.
After the Show, Things Got Better
Now, you’d think that not gettin’ money from them sharks would be the end of it, right? Wrong! These gals, they didn’t give up. Seems like bein’ on that show, even without gettin’ money, it helped ’em out a whole lot. People started hearin’ about Dapper Boi and wantin’ to buy their clothes. I heard tell they started sellin’ a whole bunch more stuff after that Shark Tank show aired.
What’s Dapper Boi Up To Now?
These Dapper Boi folks, they’re doin’ all sorts of new things now. They got this app, you know, like on your phone. You can buy their clothes right there on your phone, easy peasy. And get this, they’re workin’ on somethin’ called “augmented reality shoppin’.” Sounds like somethin’ outta a sci-fi movie, don’t it? I ain’t quite sure what it is, but it sounds like you can see how the clothes look on you without even puttin’ ’em on. Imagine that! They’re also big on that there Instagram and TikTok, you know, them picture and video things the young folks are always on. Lots of folks followin’ ’em there, seein’ their new clothes and all.
Started a While Back
This Dapper Boi ain’t no new thing, neither. These two ladies, Vicky and Charisse, they started this whole thing way back in 2015. That’s almost ten years ago! They been workin’ hard at it for a long time, makin’ clothes and tryin’ to make a name for themselves. And it seems like they’re finally gettin’ the hang of it, even without them sharks’ help.
Clothes for All Kinds of Folks
One of the things that’s really important for Vicky and Charisse is makin’ sure their clothes fit everybody. You know, not just skinny people or tall people, but everybody. They call it “body-inclusive,” I think. It just means they got clothes for big folks, small folks, and everybody in between. That’s mighty thoughtful of them, I say. Not everyone is built the same, after all. They also try to make clothes that look good, not just comfortable. So, you can look good and feel good at the same time. It’s really something! Seems to me like they’re really trying to make a difference and that’s something to be admired I tell ya.
So, What’s the Big Deal?
Well, I reckon the big deal is that these Dapper Boi folks are tryin’ to do somethin’ different. They’re not just tryin’ to sell clothes, they’re tryin’ to make clothes that make people feel good about themselves, no matter who they are or what they look like. And that, to me, sounds like a pretty good thing. They didn’t let a setback like not getting any money from those sharks stop them. They kept on going, kept on working, and now they’re doing pretty darn good. It just goes to show ya, if you work hard and believe in yourself, you can do anything you set your mind to, even without them fancy sharks. That’s what I always say, and it seems to be true for these Dapper Boi gals too.
In Conclusion
So there you have it, the story of Dapper Boi. They went on Shark Tank, didn’t get any money, but still managed to make a success of themselves. They got all sorts of clothes for all sorts of people and they’re tryin’ to make the world a little bit better, one shirt and one pair of pants at a time. And that’s somethin’ I can get behind. It’s a good thing, what they’re doin’. Just goes to show you don’t need some big-shot investors to make your dreams a reality.
