Alright, let’s talk about this Peter and Sarah Amazing Race thing. I watched it, you know, between feeding the chickens and whatnot. So, this Peter and Sarah, they were on this race, like, running around the world or somethin’. Real competitive, those two.
From what I gather, they knew each other for a good while, like, seven years or somethin’. Been doin’ those Ironman things together, you know, the swimmin’ and the runnin’ and the bikin’. Seemed like good pals, but Lordy, this race sure tested them.
They were on this Amazing Race show, been on TV for ages, I hear. Twenty years or somethin’. People love watchin’ folks runnin’ around, I guess. Anyways, this show, they don’t let ‘em use their own money. Gives ‘em a bit at the start of each leg, you know, for food and gettin’ around. Sometimes just a dollar, sometimes a whole heap of money, like five hundred dollars! Can you imagine?
- Peter and Sarah, they had some real troubles, though. Peter, he was a yeller, always shoutin’ at Sarah, callin’ it “encouragement.”
- Sarah, bless her heart, she tried, but Peter just kept on fussin’.
- They were navigatin’ all over the place and got lost, like, a whole bunch of times. Made me want to holler at the TV myself.
This Season 10, it was alright, I guess. Had some interesting folks, and they went to some neat places. But Peter and Sarah, they didn’t last too long. Nope, they got the boot in seventh place. All that yellin’ and gettin’ lost didn’t do ‘em no good.
After the race, well, they went their separate ways. Peter, he went off and married some gal named Lauren, had a whole passel of kids, three of ‘em. And Sarah, she found herself a fella too, an art director, wouldn’t you know it. And wouldn’t you guess it? His name’s Peter too. Ain’t that somethin’? She even got herself two young’uns.
Now, Sarah, she used to be with this other fella named Terence, even before the race. They broke up after a while, but stayed friends, which is nice. Terence even showed up to watch another season of the race start, cheerin’ folks on.
This Sarah, she’s been on TV before, I heard. Some other show, lasted six episodes or somethin’. Seems she likes them cameras. But this Amazing Race, it’s a tough one. You gotta be smart, gotta be fast, and you gotta get along with your partner. Peter and Sarah, well, they didn’t quite have it all figured out, did they?
So, that’s the story of Peter and Sarah on the Amazing Race. A whole lotta runnin’, a whole lotta yellin’, and a whole lotta gettin’ lost. They didn’t win, but hey, they made it on TV. That’s somethin’, right? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them tomatoes.
