Netflix Clinical Review: Pros, Cons, and Verdict

Netflix Clinical Review: Pros, Cons, and Verdict

Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this Netflix thing, ya know, the one them city folks always jabberin’ about. I ain’t no fancy expert, mind you, just a plain ol’ person tellin’ it like it is.

So, what’s the big deal with Netflix? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s got more shows and movies than a dog has fleas. Lots and lots of choices, that’s for sure. You could watch stuff all day and all night and still not see everything. My neighbor, that nosy Mrs. Henderson, she says she watches it all the time. Says she can find somethin’ for everyone, even her picky grandkids.

Now, some folks say that’s a good thing, this having so much to watch. And I guess it is, if you got nothin’ better to do. But sometimes, I think it’s just too much. You spend more time lookin’ for somethin’ to watch than actually watchin’ it. It’s like goin’ to the market and seein’ a hundred different kinds of apples – you just end up confused and go home with nothin’. It can be overwhelming, that’s what the youngins call it, I think. They got all sorts of stuff, dramas, comedies, them cartoons, and even things from other countries, ya know, with the subtitles and all.

Netflix Clinical Review: Pros, Cons, and Verdict
  • Good things about Netflix:
    • Lots of shows and movies.
    • Got stuff for everybody, young and old.
    • Can watch whenever you want, day or night.
  • Bad things about Netflix:
    • Too many choices, can’t decide what to watch.
    • Can be expensive, dependin’ on what plan you get.
    • Might make you lazy, sittin’ around watchin’ TV all the time.

And speakin’ of money, that’s another thing to think about. This Netflix ain’t free, ya know. You gotta pay for it every month. And they got different plans, some cheaper, some more expensive. It’s like buyin’ a cow – you gotta figure out if the milk is worth the price. If you watch it a lot, maybe it’s worth it. But if you only watch it once in a blue moon, well, you might be better off just borrowin’ a DVD from the library.

Now, Mrs. Henderson, she says she got the fancy plan, the one with all the bells and whistles. Says she can watch it on her TV, her phone, even that little tablet thingy. Me? I ain’t got time for all that. I got chores to do, garden to tend, and chickens to feed. But I reckon it’s nice to have the option, if you’re into that sort of thing. Different packages for different folks, I guess.

And then there’s the original shows, the ones Netflix makes themselves. Some of ’em are pretty good, I gotta admit. Keeps you guessin’ what’s gonna happen next. But some of ’em are just plain weird. Like that one about the upside-down world, gave me the heebie-jeebies, it did. I prefer them good ol’ westerns, ya know, cowboys and Indians, where you know who the good guys and bad guys are.

They even got them medical shows, you know the ones about doctors and hospitals, Mrs. Henderson watches them all day long. Says she learns a lot. I don’t know about that, seems to me that they just make stuff up for drama. It’s like that story about that fella waking up after a car wreck with no memory, they call it “The Lost Patient”, real spooky stuff if you ask me, but not at all realistic.

So, is Netflix good or bad? Well, I reckon it’s like most things in life – it depends on how you use it. If you watch it too much, it’ll rot your brain and make you lazy. But if you watch it in moderation, it can be a nice way to relax and unwind after a long day. Just don’t let it take over your life, ya hear? There’s more to life than sittin’ in front of a screen all day. You gotta get out there, get some fresh air, and talk to people face-to-face. That’s what I always say.

And that’s all I gotta say about Netflix. Take it or leave it, it’s up to you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
