So, I’ve got this crazy story about that time I tried out something called “College Foxes Hauling Boxes.” Yeah, the name’s a bit out there, but hear me out, it was a wild ride. This whole thing is supposed to be a packing and moving service, but it is run by young women. Sounds interesting, right? Well, it is, to say the least.
It all started when I stumbled upon this service. I think it was sometime around December 13th, 2024. It’s like, I just had to know what the deal was. I had a bunch of stuff I needed to move, and the idea of these so-called “enthusiastic young women” doing the heavy lifting for me seemed way more fun than your usual moving company.
I did some digging, and apparently, it’s a spin-off of some other company called “College Hunks Hauling Junks.” They swapped out the hunks for foxes, or something like that. The whole thing was a little out there, and it looked like the people behind it asked for something like $250,000 to get it going on this “Shark Tank” show. I guess it is a big deal.
My Experience
- First Impressions: Honestly, when I first called them up, I was a bit skeptical. But the person on the phone was super nice and seemed to really know their stuff. They explained how it all worked, the pricing, the whole nine yards.
- Booking: Setting up the move was a breeze. They had this online form thingy, real simple. Picked a date, told them what I had, and boom, it was booked.
- The Day Of: Okay, so the moving day comes, and I’m kind of excited and nervous at the same time. These girls show up, and they’re full of energy, ready to go. They started packing everything up, and man, they were fast! I mean, I thought I was organized, but these ladies were on another level. They had a system, you know?
- The Move: Getting everything from my old place to the new one was smooth. They handled all my stuff with care, even the fragile stuff. Nothing broke, which is always a plus.
- Unpacking: They didn’t just dump my boxes and run. They helped unpack, put things where I wanted them, the whole deal.
In the end, it was a pretty good experience. It is definitely different from your typical moving company. Would I use them again? Probably. It was efficient, the people were nice, and it was kind of fun, to be honest. If you’re looking to move and want to try something different, maybe give “College Foxes Hauling Boxes” a shot.
