Okay, so I was trying to find some info about this “Barbara Purcell” in Rockford, IL. It seemed like a pretty specific thing, so I figured it couldn’t be too hard, right? Wrong!
Digging Around
I started with a simple search, just typing in “barbara purcell rockford il”. I figured I’d get, like, a phone number, maybe an address, or a social media profile, something easy. Nope.
Instead, I got a bunch of random stuff. Some news articles, a few obituaries (not the right one, thankfully!), and a whole lot of websites that wanted me to pay to get “background information.” Yeah, no thanks.
So, I tried to get a little smarter. I refined search using a variety of terms and looking at any image associated with the names. I spent time trying to find the right one. Man, was that a rabbit hole! I started clicking on every link, one after another.
Getting (Slightly) Closer
After a while of that, I stumbled upon something. I do not remember what I clicked or what I searched to find it. But there it was!
It wasn’t much, but it was something!
Lesson Learned (Maybe?)
Honestly, this whole thing was a bit of a mess. I probably spent way too long on it, and I didn’t even get that much out of it. It just goes to show you, sometimes the internet doesn’t have all the answers, even when you think it should.
Maybe next time, I’ll just pick up the phone and try the old-fashioned way. Or, you know, just give up sooner. It might be better for my sanity!
