Alright, let’s get this straight. This “My Demon” thing, episode four, huh? I watched it, and lemme tell ya, it’s a whole lotta somethin’. Don’t expect no fancy words from me, I’m just gonna tell it like it is, the way I see it.
So, this girl, Do Hee, right? She’s got herself mixed up with this Gu Won fella. Seems like some kinda matchmakin’ agency screwed up, and now they’re stuck with each other. It’s like when you order a pig and get a goat, but you gotta make do with what you got. Do Hee, she’s tryin’ to stay alive and protect herself, that much is clear.
- Episode Four, they call it “Sweet but Dangerous.” Dangerous, I get. But “sweet”? Humph, I ain’t so sure about that.
- Gu Won, he’s turnin’ down Do Hee’s proposal. Big shocker. Men, always thinkin’ they’re too good. Like a rooster in a henhouse, puffin’ out his chest.
- Then, Do Hee, she’s smart, she is. She wants him to look into this Ju Cheon-suk fella’s death. Sounds fishy to me. Someone croakin’ is never good news.
But here’s the kicker. Gu Won, he runs into some kinda “power blockage.” Sounds like when the well runs dry, or the electricity goes out durin’ a storm. You’re left in the dark, flailin’ around, not knowin’ what to do. That’s what it sounds like to me, anyways.
Now they’re talkin’ about episodes five and six. Gu Won’s gone and fallen for Do Hee, like a fly in honey. But he’s too stubborn to admit it. Men, they’re all the same, prideful as peacocks. He’s treatin’ her like dirt, like she’s some kinda bug under his shoe. Reminds me of old man Johnson, always bossin’ around his wife, Mabel. Never did understand that.
Then, in episodes six and seven, they split up. She’s the boss, he’s the bodyguard. Like oil and water, them two. Can’t never mix. And wouldn’t ya know it, some bad egg breaks into Do Hee’s house. Puts her in a real pickle, she is. Lucky for her, somethin’ musta happened, ‘cause she’s still kickin’, I reckon.
This whole “My Demon” thing, it’s like a soap opera, but with demons and such. Folks dyin’, folks fallin’ in love, folks gettin’ into trouble. It’s got it all, I guess. Don’t know why they gotta make it so complicated though. Life’s complicated enough without all this demon business.
You got this Do Hee, tryin’ to figure things out, and this Gu Won, who’s probably got more secrets than a locked trunk. And then there’s all this talk of proposals and deaths and power blockages. Makes my head spin, it does. It’s like tryin’ to herd chickens in a windstorm.
But I’ll tell you what, I’m kinda hooked. Want to see what happens next, even if I don’t understand half of it. It’s like watchin’ a train wreck, you know? You can’t look away. Gotta see how it all ends. Hope Do Hee gives that Gu Won a piece of her mind, though. He needs it, that’s for sure. And I hope she catches whoever broke into her house. Nothin’ worse than feelin’ unsafe in your own home. Reminds me of the time that stray dog got into my chicken coop. Caused a whole lotta ruckus, it did.
So, yeah, that’s my take on “My Demon,” episode four, and a little bit of the rest. It’s a wild ride, that’s for sure. Just don’t expect me to explain all the fancy stuff. I’m just tellin’ it like I see it, plain and simple. And if you ask me, these young folks on TV, they got too much drama in their lives. Need to settle down and plant a garden or somethin’. That’ll keep ’em busy.
