So, after all that searching and thinking, what did I end up watching? Honestly, I went back and rewatched parts of “The Great Escape.” Sometimes the original is just what you need! But I’ve got a solid list now for the next time that craving hits. “Stalag 17” and “Chicken Run” are definitely on the agenda.
