So, I was in the mood for something mind-bending, you know, those movies that really make you think. I remembered this movie I watched a while back, “The Adjustment Bureau,” and thought, “Hey, let’s see if there’s anything else like it.”

I started skimming through some articles and listicles. One of them, I think it was from February 2017, talked about the mind-bending elements of some show called “The OA.” Sounded interesting, but I wanted to stick to movies for now.
Then I found some more detailed info about “The Adjustment Bureau” itself. Apparently, it’s a 2011 science fiction romantic thriller starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. I mean, who doesn’t love those two? It also had Anthony Mackie and John Slattery in it, solid actors for sure.
My next step
I stumbled upon this website called Letterboxd, which is like a social network for movie buffs. Turns out, there are like 65 films similar to “The Adjustment Bureau” listed on there! That’s a lot to go through. I figured I needed a way to narrow it down, so I kept digging.
