Okay, so I’ve been wanting to find some movies that give me the same feels as “P.S. I Love You.” You know, that movie just hits you right in the heart, but it’s also kind of uplifting in a weird way? Anyway, I started looking around to see what I could find.

First, I just googled “movies similar to P.S. I Love You.”

I scrolled through a bunch of websites, and man, there are a lot of lists out there. I mean, seriously, it felt like everyone and their dog had an opinion on this. Some were helpful, some not so much. Most were just a random collections.

Then I checked out some movie sites, like TMDb. They had some decent suggestions, but it was still kind of overwhelming. Like, how do you choose from that many options? I did notice that some films were mentioned several times in different lists, for instance, “Mad Love” was mentioned twice on two different websites.

I also looked at what was popular on streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Because, you know, it’s got to be something I can actually watch, right?

After all that digging, I started to see some patterns. A lot of the movies that kept coming up were about dealing with loss, grief, and moving on. Kind of like “P.S. I Love You,” but maybe with different twists.

My Watchlist

  • Benny & Joon (1993) – This one seems a bit older, but it popped up a few times. I guess it’s a classic?
  • Mad Love (1995) – This was also mentioned a couple times. It seems a little bit earlier than “P.S. I Love You”, might worth a try.
  • Love & Other Drugs (2010) – This one’s got Anne Hathaway, and I love her, so that’s a plus.

I also noticed a lot of people comparing “P.S. I Love You” to “The Notebook.” I get it, they’re both super romantic and emotional. But I’m looking for something a little different, you know?

Anyway, I ended up making a list of about seven movies that seemed promising. Now I just need to find the time to watch them all! Maybe I’ll start with “Love & Other Drugs” and see how it goes. If anyone else has seen these or has other suggestions, let me know!
