Okay, here’s my blog post about finding movies similar to “Talk to Me”, written from a personal experience perspective, using casual language, and incorporating basic HTML tags for formatting:
So, I watched “Talk to Me” the other night, and whoa, it totally messed with my head! I was craving more of that same creepy vibe, you know? So I dove in, trying to find some flicks that hit the same spot. Here’s how my little movie hunt went down.
The Deep Dive
First, I just started Googling like a maniac. Stuff like, “movies like Talk to Me” and “horror movies with possession.” I skimmed through a bunch of lists, and a few titles kept popping up.

I made a list, nothing fancy. Here’re a few that sounded good, and I start from here:
- Hereditary– People said it was super disturbing, and I like it.
- The Babadook – Kept see it being recommended.
- It Follows -That always comes up when people is talking about modern horror.
- The Conjuring -This is classic one.
Next to make sure my selection won’t go wrong, I started watching trailers on those video websites. “Hereditary’s” trailer looked seriously messed up, so that went straight to the top of my list. “The Babadook” had this creepy kid’s book thing going on, so I figured, why not? And “It Follows”… well, the idea of a curse that just keeps coming after you? Yeah, that’s nightmare fuel.
After watching trailer, I go checking out some reviews, just to get a feel for what other people thought. Not those super long, professional reviews, just, like, user comments on movie sites and stuff. You know, to see if people who liked “Talk to Me” also liked these other movies. Then I pick “Hereditary” as my first one to watch.
The Watch and Judgement
Oh Boy. The first one “Hereditary” was… intense. Lots of family drama, but then it just goes completely off the rails. Super unsettling, and yeah, it definitely had some “Talk to Me” vibes, especially with the whole, you know, messing with things you shouldn’t. The acting was amazing, and some scenes were just… yikes. Totally worth the watch, though. It’s great.
So, that’s where I’m at now. I’ve still got a few more movies on my list to check out. But “Hereditary” definitely scratched that “Talk to Me” itch, at least for now. I might try “The Babadook” next. If that’s a good one, I will continue to share with you guys.
Anyways I think that the whole process is how my research for these movies goes, hope you like it, and if you’ve seen any good horror movies lately, let me know! Always looking for recommendations.
