Okay, so the other day I was trying to find some movies similar to “Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.” You know, that whimsical, feel-good kind of movie? My kids loved it, and I wanted to find something else in that same vein. Here’s how I went about it.
My Movie Search Adventure
First, I fired up my trusty laptop. No fancy tools here, just good old Google. I typed in “movies like mr magorium’s wonder emporium”. Simple as that.
The search results? A whole bunch of stuff! Movie lists, blog posts, forum discussions…you name it. I started clicking through some of the more promising-looking ones.

I jotted down a few titles that kept popping up:
- “Hugo”: Apparently, this one’s got a magical, mysterious vibe.
- “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”: Classic fantasy, always a good bet.
- “Paddington” & “Paddington 2”:These were mentioned multiple times as the top two movies.
- “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”: I have seen it.
I read a few, and after reading them I decided to go with the Paddingtons’ movies.
So, there you have it. I ended up with a nice little list of potential movie night options. I think the kiddos watched those Paddingtons’ movies. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes? Not too bad. I’ll do it all again next week!
