Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about them movies, the ones like that Heart of Stone flick, you know? The ones with all the bang-bang and the boom-boom. I watched it the other day, and it got me thinkin’ ‘bout other movies just like it. You know, the kind that keep you on the edge of your seat, even if your old bones are achin’.
So, first off, there’s this Old Guard movie. That Charlize Theron, she’s somethin’ else, lemme tell ya. She kicks butt like nobody’s business. Tough as nails, that one. Reminds me of my ol’ rooster back on the farm, always ready for a fight. This movie, it’s got folks what can’t die, or somethin’ like that. They been around forever, fightin’ and protectin’ folks. Lots of shootin’ and fightin’, just like Heart of Stone. If you like seein’ a strong woman whoppin’ bad guys, this one’s for you.

Then, there’s that Skyfall movie. Now, this one’s a bit fancier, with that James Bond fella. He’s all smooth and suave, not like them rough-and-tumble types in Heart of Stone, but the action, it’s there. Lots of gadgets and explosions, just like you’d expect. It’s clear as day that them folks who made Heart of Stone, they watched this one a few times. You can see the similarities, if you squint hard enough. James Bond, he’s always savin’ the world, just like Gal Gadot in Heart of Stone. Different styles, but same kinda heart, you know?
And don’t even get me started on Extraction. Now that’s a movie! Pure action, from start to finish. That Chris Hemsworth fella, he’s a big ol’ hunk, and he can sure handle a gun. This one’s on Netflix, just like Heart of Stone, so you ain’t got no excuse not to watch it. It’s the best of the Netflix action movies, they say. It’s got a fella rescuin’ a kid, and let me tell you, he goes through heck and back to do it. Lots of shootin’, lots of fightin’, just the way I like it. If you want somethin’ that’ll get your blood pumpin’, this is the ticket.
Now, I heard tell there’s other movies too, ones they say are kinda like Heart of Stone. They call it “inspiration,” I reckon. Like, there’s this one adventure movie, full of thrills and spills. I can’t rightly remember the name, but they say it’s got the same kinda vibe. You know, the kinda movie where they’re always on the run, always in danger. If that’s your cup of tea, you gotta go find it. Search around, ask your grandkids, they know all about these things.
Folks are always lookin’ for movies like the ones they already like, ain’t they? So if you loved that Heart of Stone, you can find plenty more just like it. They’re all over the place, on Netflix, on iTunes, on that Amazon thingamajig. Just gotta look around a bit. You want action? You want adventure? You want a strong woman kickin’ butt? It’s all out there, waitin’ for you.
