Alright, listen up, y’all. You been watchin’ that Cherry movie, huh? That one with the young fella, Tom Holland, runnin’ around and gettin’ into all sorts of trouble. Yeah, that one. So, you liked it, did ya? Well, you ain’t alone. Lots of folks liked that movie. But now you’re stuck, scratchin’ your head, wonderin’ what else to watch, right? You’re lookin’ for somethin’ similar, somethin’ that’ll scratch that same itch. Well, Granny’s here to tell ya, there’s plenty more where that came from.
First off, if you liked seein’ that Tom Holland boy, you gotta check out Uncharted. That’s another one with him in it, lots of adventurin’ and treasure huntin’. It’s got him climbin’ and jumpin’ all over the place, just like in Cherry, but maybe a little less… you know… sad. More fun, I guess you could say. He’s a good-lookin’ boy, that Tom Holland, reminds me of my Billy when he was young.
And then there’s that Spider-Man: No Way Home movie. Yep, Tom Holland’s in that one too! This time he’s got superpowers and he’s swingin’ around on webs and fightin’ bad guys. It’s a whole different kettle of fish than Cherry, but it’s got that same actor you like and it’s exciting. My grandkids love this one, they watch it over and over again. Kids these days and their fancy movies.
Now, if it ain’t just Tom Holland you’re after, but you liked the kinda story Cherry was tellin’, the kinda… serious stuff, then you might wanna try somethin’ like Schindler’s List. Now, that one ain’t nothin’ like them other two I just told ya about. It’s a real heavy one, about the war and all that. But it’s got that same… feelin’ of… I don’t know… real life stuff, you know? Not all fun and games like them superhero movies. It’ll make you think, that one will.
Let’s see, what else… Oh, yeah! If you’re lookin’ for movies kinda like Cherry in terms of… I guess you could say the… the struggle, you know? Like the fella in Cherry, he has a hard time, right? Well, there’s lots of movies about people havin’ a hard time. You could try lookin’ up movies about soldiers, or movies about… drug addiction, I guess. Though, Lord knows why you’d want to watch that sort of thing. Just go on that… what do they call it… the Google? Yeah, go on the Google and type in “movies about soldiers” or “movies about addiction.” You’ll find a whole bunch of ’em.
And another thing you can do, if you really like a certain actor, like that Tom Holland boy, you can look up their other movies. They call it a… “filmography,” somethin’ like that. Fancy word, ain’t it? Just go on that… IMDb thing, whatever that is, and type in the actor’s name. It’ll show you all the movies they’ve been in. That’s what my grandson showed me, he’s a whiz with this computer stuff.
