So, I was totally into this show called “Drops of God,” right? It sounded interesting, so I decided to binge-watch it. I started with the first episode of season one, and man, was it a ride!
The main character, Camille, she’s got this weird thing where she can’t even have a sip of wine. I mean, who can’t drink wine? Turns out, even a tiny bit of alcohol makes her super sick, like nosebleeds and everything. It’s wild! I kept watching, trying to figure out what was up with her.
Then there’s this whole competition thing about wines. It got intense! They had to, like, identify all these different wines, and the winner of each round was highlighted with a green background. Cool, right? I was trying to guess along with them, but they’re way too good.
Camille has some serious issues, though. I found out that she can’t drink because of some past trauma. Something happened with her dad, who was a big wine guy, and it messed her up. It got so bad that her mom, Marianne, had to run away. I felt so bad for her. She’s competing, but she can’t even taste the wine! It’s a real disadvantage, you know?
But that’s not all. There’s this other guy, Issei, and he’s also in the competition. He’s got his own problems, but he can at least drink wine. Still, I don’t think he had it much easier than Camille. It was tough for both of them.
Later on, Camille won the second round of the competition, which was awesome! But then this guy Luca offered her a job to run the Leger Guide, and she said no. I was like, “What? Why?” I guess she had her reasons. I kept watching to see what would happen next.
And the biggest mystery is this thing called “The Drops of God.” It’s supposed to be the thirteenth wine, but they never actually say what it is in the show. They say it’s different for everyone because everyone has different tastes. That makes sense, I guess. It’s like, your personal favorite wine is your “Drops of God.”
What I learned:
- Camille can’t drink alcohol without getting really sick.
- There’s a wine competition with rounds and a green background for the winner.
- Camille’s trauma with her dad caused her alcohol problem and made her mom leave.
- Issei is another competitor who also has struggles.
- Camille won the second round but turned down a job offer.
- “The Drops of God” is a mysterious wine that’s different for each person.
Anyway, that’s my recap of what I watched. It was a pretty crazy show, but I enjoyed it. I’m still thinking about all the drama and that “Drops of God” thing. If you’re into wine or just like a good story, you should totally check it out!
