Levente Killed His Mom: The Story Behind the Incident

3

Alright, so you wanna know why Levente killed his mom, huh? It’s a real mess, that’s what it is. A real, real mess.

From what I hear, this Levente fella, he was about 27, maybe 26, some say. Anyways, young enough to still be callin’ his mama, I reckon. And his mama, Athena, she was 64. Lived in some place called Grover Beach, in California, I think. South 9th Street, they said. Not that I know where that is, mind you. Just heard it on the news, or maybe my niece told me, can’t rightly remember.

Now, the story goes, this Levente, he done killed his mama. Stabbed her, they said. Multiple times. Lord have mercy. Imagine stabbin’ your own mama. Makes my stomach turn just thinkin’ about it. They found her dead in her own house. Can you believe it? Her own house! A place where a body should feel safe, you know?

Levente Killed His Mom: The Story Behind the Incident
  • Some folks say he did it for money. Money! Can you imagine? Killin’ your own flesh and blood for a few measly dollars. They call it “financial gain” in them fancy newspapers. Hmph, sounds like a polite way of sayin’ he was greedy as a hog.
  • Then there’s other stories, whispers really, about how his mama, she didn’t like what he was. Said she was real religious and hated somethin’ about him. Maybe she was gonna beat him, you know, try to “beat the devil out of him,” like they say. And maybe he just fought back. Maybe he didn’t mean to kill her, but things got outta hand. A fight, you know? And then… well, then she was gone.

But the court, they didn’t buy none of that “fightin’ back” stuff. They found him guilty. First-degree murder, they called it. And they gave him life in prison. No parole. Means he’ll be locked up till the day he dies. Serves him right, I say. You kill your mama, you deserve whatever you get. It’s just plain wrong.

Now, there’s some talk about the Wallists and Historia and Royal honor and such, but to be honest, I don’t understand a lick of that. Sounds like somethin’ out of a fairy tale, if you ask me. This Kenny fella, he seems to know somethin’, but it’s all gobbledygook to me. What I do know is, a son killed his mama, and that’s a tragedy, pure and simple.

It’s a sad, sad story, ain’t it? A mama gone too soon, and a son who threw his life away. All for what? Money? Hate? Anger? Makes you wonder what this world is comin’ to. Makes you want to hold your own kids close, that’s for sure. And pray they never do somethin’ like that. Lord have mercy on us all.

I still don’t rightly know why he did it for sure. Nobody really does, except maybe Levente himself. And he ain’t talkin’, far as I know. But one thing’s for certain, ain’t nothin’ gonna bring that poor woman back. And that’s the saddest part of it all.

So, that’s the story, as best as I can tell it. A young man, a dead mama, and a whole lotta heartache. It ain’t pretty, but it’s the truth, as far as I can see. And the truth, well, sometimes it hurts like a son of a gun.

You know, some people, they just got darkness in their hearts. And sometimes, that darkness takes over. Maybe that’s what happened to Levente. Maybe not. We’ll probably never know for sure. But one thing’s for sure: it’s a terrible thing to lose your mama, especially like that.
