OK, let’s talk about Korean dramas. I’ve been watching a lot of them lately, and I wanna share some thoughts. It all started when I stumbled upon this drama called “Come and Hug Me.” I was just browsing, you know, and the title caught my eye. The main lead, Chae Do Jin, played by Jang Ki Yong, is just…wow. I mean, the story is kinda intense, but his acting? Superb!
So, I got hooked. I started digging around for more. I found this website that had a bunch of info on different dramas. It was a goldmine! I spent hours just reading about different shows, making a list of ones that seemed interesting.
Then I thought, “Why not go to Netflix?” Everyone’s always talking about the Korean dramas on there. I searched and bam! So many options. Two that really stood out were “Crash Landing on You” and “Kingdom.” I heard good things about these two before.
My Watchlist
I decided to make a watchlist. First on the list was “My Liberation Notes” (original title: “Noui Haebangilji”). The description said it was a movie, about an hour long. I figured, “Eh, why not? It’s short.” I watched it and, let me tell you, it was good. It’s not your typical happy-go-lucky story, but it’s real, you know? It got me thinking about life and stuff.
After that, I started “Crash Landing on You.” People are crazy about it, saying it’s super romantic. And they’re not wrong. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts. I found myself laughing, crying, and just feeling all the feels.
Zombie Time!
Then came “Kingdom.” I’m not usually into zombies, but this one is different. It’s a period piece with zombies! How cool is that? The costumes, the setting, the action… it all just works. I binged the whole first season in like two days. No regrets.
I’m still exploring the world of Korean dramas. There’s just so much out there! I’m keeping track of the ones I’ve watched and jotting down my thoughts. It’s like a little hobby now.
So yeah, that’s my Korean drama journey so far. It’s been fun, emotional, and definitely entertaining. If you have any recommendations, hit me up! I’m always looking for new stuff to watch.
