Alright, let’s talk about what I did last weekend. I went to Laguna Beach because I saw a post online about a guy named Kevin Pieropan, who seems to have an art gallery there. Sounds fancy, huh? So, I thought, “Why not check it out?” Plus, I’ve heard about Laguna Beach from that old MTV show, and it always looked pretty.
First off, I drove down to Laguna Beach. The drive was nice, lots of pretty views. When I got there, I had to find parking, which is always a pain in these beach towns. Finally found a spot, paid an arm and a leg for it, and started walking around.
I looked up this Coast Gallery that Kevin owns. It was easy to find, right by the main road. The gallery is full of all kinds of art, paintings, sculptures, you name it. I’m no art expert, but it all looked pretty cool. I saw some paintings of the ocean, which made sense since we’re right by the beach.
- Walked around the gallery: I spent a good hour just looking at everything. Some of the stuff was super expensive!
- Chatted with someone who worked there: I think his name was Wayne. He was telling me about the different artists and how Kevin picks out the pieces. Seemed like a knowledgeable guy. I acted like I knew what I was talking about, but I was just nodding along.
After the gallery, I decided to hit the beach. I mean, you can’t go to Laguna Beach and not see the ocean. I found a spot on the sand and just relaxed for a while, I remembered that someone said, “I remember wanting to walk on the beach”. It was really nice watching the waves, people playing, and the sun starting to set. It got me thinking, this Kevin guy, he’s living the life, running a gallery in a place like this. And then I read online that Kevin lives with someone in their Monarch Beach home. They play golf and go boating. I envy them.
I also read somewhere that Kevin’s girlfriend, or maybe ex-girlfriend, used to have some serious issues. There was even a rumor that a guy named Binion might have committed suicide, and this woman was somehow connected. Crazy stuff. It’s a bit sad to think about all that drama when you’re in such a beautiful place.
Anyway, I grabbed some food at a local spot, nothing fancy, just a burger and fries. It was getting late, so I headed back to my car and drove home.
Overall, it was a good day. Laguna Beach is as pretty as they say, and that art gallery was interesting, even if I didn’t buy anything. It’s cool to see how people like Kevin Pieropan make a living out of their passions. Maybe one day I’ll open my own little shop, who knows. But for now, it was just a fun little adventure.
