Okay, so I’ve been on this kick lately, totally obsessed with movies that have that same vibe as “Marie Antoinette” – you know, the Sofia Coppola one. All that lavish style, historical setting, but with a modern twist. I just love it! So, I decided to dig in and find some more films that would scratch that itch.
My Search Begins…
First, I jumped onto Google, obviously. I tried a few different searches, like “movies similar to Marie Antoinette” and “historical dramas with modern soundtracks.” That gave me a starting point, a bunch of names I’d mostly never heard of.
Then I headed over to some movie forums. I figured real people would have better suggestions than some random website algorithm. I scrolled through a bunch of threads, jotting down any titles that seemed promising. There was a lot of talk about other Sofia Coppola movies, which makes sense.
