[Body]
Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this “Junji Ito Intruder Explained” thing. I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, but I watched it, and I’ll tell ya what I saw, the way I see it.
So, it starts with this fella, Oshikiri, right? He’s hearin’ these weird footsteps in his house. You know, the kind that make the hair on your arms stand up? Like somethin’ ain’t right. He’s livin’ alone, so it’s extra creepy. I tell ya, livin’ alone ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. Always hearin’ things, always wonderin’ if somethin’s out there.
Then there’s this girl, Chiemi. Poor thing wakes up with a rat stuck in her hair! Can you imagine? A rat! In her hair! That’s enough to make anyone jump outta their skin. Now, this part, they say it’s “based on Intruder.” I guess that means it’s connected to Oshikiri’s creepy footsteps somehow.
The Real Creepy Part
Now, here’s where it gets real weird. They find this intruder, see? But he ain’t just any intruder. He’s from another dimension, they say. And guess what? He looks just like Oshikiri! Can you believe it? Another Oshikiri, but from a different place. Makes your head spin, don’t it?
This other Oshikiri, he’s a bad one. He ends up killin’ a whole bunch of folks, the people from his own dimension. Kills ’em and buries ’em. Just like that. Cold-blooded. It’s enough to make your stomach turn.
- Footsteps in the house
- Rat in the hair
- Intruder from another dimension
- Oshikiri look-alike
- Murders and burials
They showed this guy diggin’ up a body at the start. All muddy and gross. That shoulda been a sign, right? That somethin’ bad was comin’. But you never really know, do ya? Things just happen, and you’re left tryin’ to make sense of it all.
More Junji Ito Stuff
Now, they talk about some other Junji Ito stories too. There’s this Fuchi woman, a model, but she ain’t right. Terrifyin’, they say. And then there’s Tomie. She’s immortal, and she preys on men. Drains the life outta them. Sounds like a real piece of work, that one.
And there’s this story about girls killin’ themselves. Somethin’ to do with a handsome young man. And another one called “Black Paradox.” People meetin’ up online to, well, you know… But then they find out one of ’em has a portal in his belly! Vomits up gems! Can you imagine? A portal in your belly! The things these folks come up with.
Back to the Intruder
So, back to this intruder thing. At the end, they say it ain’t explained. You know, what really happened, why this other Oshikiri came, all that. They just leave you hangin’. Makes you wonder, don’t it? Was it all a dream? Was it real? Or is it just one of them stories meant to give you the creeps?
I tell ya, these stories, they ain’t for the faint of heart. They get under your skin. Make you think about things you don’t wanna think about. But I guess that’s the point, right? To scare ya a little. To make ya wonder what’s out there, in the dark, in the shadows, in the places you can’t see.
So, that’s my take on “Junji Ito Intruder Explained.” It’s creepy, it’s weird, and it don’t make a whole lotta sense. But that’s Junji Ito for ya. He likes to mess with your head. And I gotta say, he does a pretty good job of it.
