Is Goddess Dormitory Uncensored Any Good? Honest Opinions Here

Well, let me tell you about this Goddess Dormitory thing, you know, the one they say is uncensored. I ain’t no fancy movie critic, but I watched it, and I got some things to say.

First off, this boy, Koushi, he’s just a young’un, like 12 years old or somethin’. Poor thing, his house burns down and his daddy up and leaves him. Can you imagine? Just gone! So, this kid’s wanderin’ around, no money, no nothin’. Then, bam! He meets this college girl, Mineru, and she gives him a job. A job at a girls’ dormitory, mind you! Now, that’s somethin’, ain’t it?

This dormitory, they call it the Goddess Dormitory. But lemme tell ya, these goddesses ain’t exactly what you see in church pictures. They say it’s for the “unruly” students. Unruly my foot! They’re just wild, if you ask me. Always doin’ things they shouldn’t be. And this Koushi kid, he’s livin’ there, workin’ there. It’s a bit much for a young boy, I tell ya.

Now, people are makin’ a big fuss about it bein’ “uncensored.” Well, yeah, there’s some…stuff… goin’ on. The girls, they do things… sexy things, I guess you’d call ’em. But honestly? It ain’t all that great. It’s kinda…boring. Like, they’re showin’ you things, but it just doesn’t… I dunno… excite you? It’s like watchin’ paint dry, but with less clothes.

  • They say the characters are “flat.” And I gotta agree. They ain’t got much to ‘em. Just pretty faces and… well, you know. They don’t feel real, you know? Like those cardboard cutouts they have at the store.
  • And the story? What story? There’s barely anythin’ there. It’s just… stuff happens. This girl does that, that girl does this. It’s all over the place. Makes my head spin.

One time, this Koushi kid gets sick. A cold, I think. And these girls, Atena and Kiriya, they take care of him. That was kinda sweet, I guess. But then it’s back to the… you know… the “sexy stuff.” Another time, there’s some drama with Kiriya and her parents, somethin’ about a holiday. Atena and Koushi try to help. But it’s all just… meh.

They say it’s an “ecchi” anime. I had to ask my grandson what that meant. He just laughed and said it was… well, never mind what he said. But it’s supposed to be, you know, spicy. But this ain’t spicy. It’s more like… bland. Like that oatmeal I used to make when I didn’t have any sugar in the house.

Overall, I gotta say, this Goddess Dormitory thing ain’t all that special. It’s not bad, exactly. Just…mediocre. Forgettable. You watch it, and then a few days later, you can’t even remember what happened. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’…exciting… well, this ain’t it. There are better things to watch, that’s for sure.

They even said the manga ended. Maybe that’s for the best. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be missin’ it much.

So, that’s my take on it. Just an old woman’s opinion, mind you. But I’ve seen a thing or two in my life, and this… this just ain’t worth all the fuss.
