Okay, so, I got into this whole “Invincible” thing a while back. Started with the animated series on Amazon, and then I just dove headfirst into the comics. And let me tell you, it’s a wild ride! Today, I wanna talk about issue #12, ’cause that’s where things really started to get crazy.
So, picture this: I’m sitting there, flipping through the pages, and bam! It hits me. Angstrom Levy, this dude with the power to jump between dimensions, finally makes his move. I was really shocked. I mean, we’d seen him before, but this was different. This was him fully unleashed, ready to wreak havoc. And oh boy, did he deliver.
He starts pulling heroes from different dimensions, using them as his own personal army. And I swear, these heroes are from everywhere. This is a part of my favorite part! I was like a kid in a candy store, seeing all these familiar faces from other Image Comics titles. It was such a cool crossover, and it really showed the scope of what Levy was capable of. He was not someone you want to mess up with.
Then, there’s the whole thing with Omni-Man. He was another main character I have been following for a while. He’s trying to convince Invincible, his own son, to join him in taking over Earth. I spent a whole night reading this part! He’s like, “Humans are weak, they don’t matter,” and all that jazz. It’s this huge moral dilemma, and you can really feel the tension between them. It is really hard to choose a side because both of them had their points.
- I started by grabbing a copy of “Invincible” #12. I’ve been collecting them, so I already had it on hand.
- Then I just sat down and read the whole thing again, carefully. I wanted to really soak in all the details, you know?
- I started taking notes on the key moments, like when Angstrom Levy first attacks and when Omni-Man has his big speech to Invincible.
- After that, I went online and did some digging. I wanted to see what other people were saying about this issue and if there were any cool details I missed.
- And finally, I started writing this blog post, trying to capture all the excitement and craziness of this issue.
The way they fight, it’s brutal. Buildings are crumbling, people are running for their lives, it’s absolute chaos. And in the middle of it all is Invincible, torn between his loyalty to his dad and his love for Earth. The author really made it difficult for me to guess the ending.
This issue also sets the stage for Conquest, which I knew was gonna be a big deal. Levy’s attack was just the beginning, the appetizer before the main course. And that is a smart way to attract the readers, like me, to keep reading.
I remember finishing the issue and just sitting there, stunned. It was such a powerful and impactful story, and it really solidified “Invincible” as one of my favorite comics. This series doesn’t pull any punches. It’s raw, it’s emotional, and it’s not afraid to show the real consequences of being a superhero. I had to buy more issues after that.
I spent the whole night reading this, by the way. I couldn’t sleep until I get to know what Invincible’s choice was. It turned out great, but I will leave that to you guys to find out!
And let me tell you, this was just the tip of the iceberg. The “Invincible” series just keeps getting better and better, and this issue was a major turning point. If you haven’t read it yet, you’re seriously missing out.
Also, “Invincible” is such a good comic series. I really liked how the author put so much detail into it. I did not expect I would enjoy a superhero story this much, but I did! I have always been a big fan of action genre movies, but reading a comic series was a fresh experience for me. It had a different charm to it. I had a lot of fun reading it, and I think you guys will too!

There was another part that mentioned “THE END OF ALL THINGS,” which I assume is the final volume of the series. I am really excited to read it someday!
