InPixio Review: Is This Photo Editor Worth Your Money?

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this photo editing software called InPixio, and I figured I’d share my experience with you all. I’m not a pro photographer or anything, just someone who likes to tweak photos now and then.

First off, I heard about InPixio from somewhere online. I think it had a rating of four stars which is decent. Lots of people, I saw over 10,000, had written reviews about it. That kind of piqued my interest, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, I was considering diving into Photoshop and Lightroom eventually, but I wanted to start with something simpler and free.

So, I downloaded InPixio. I think it’s called InPixio Photo Studio 12, something like that. The installation was pretty straightforward, no hiccups there. When I opened it up, the interface looked clean and not too intimidating. That’s a plus for me, ’cause I don’t want to get lost in a maze of menus and buttons.

I started playing around with some of the basic editing features. You know, the usual stuff like adjusting brightness, contrast, and saturation. It was all pretty intuitive. I even tried out some of the filters, which were kinda fun. There’s this one that makes your photos look like old film, pretty cool.

Then I got a bit more adventurous and tried out the background removal tool. It’s not perfect, but it does a decent job. I managed to remove the background from a picture of my cat and put her on a beach. It looked a bit wonky around the edges, but hey, it was fun. They also have features where you can add stickers and text to your photos, which is neat if you’re into that kind of thing.

  • Removing background: I tried removing the background from a photo of my dog. It was surprisingly easy, though not always perfect.
  • Adding filters: There are tons of filters to play with. I spent a good hour just trying different ones out.
  • Putting stickers: I am not really into stickers, but I gave it a try. I put a mustache on my friend’s picture.

Now, here’s the thing. While I was using InPixio, it felt a bit slow at times. And it crashed on me once or twice. That was a bit annoying. Also, some features are locked behind a paywall. You can try many things for free, like basic edits and some background removal, but for the full experience, you gotta pay.

Overall, I’d say InPixio is a pretty decent tool for basic photo editing. It’s easy to use, has some cool features, and it’s free to try out. Just be prepared for some slowness and the occasional crash. If you’re looking for something more professional, you might want to look elsewhere. But for casual users like me, it’s not bad at all. I am going to try some other photo editing tools in the future and I will keep you guys posted.
