Okay, so today I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately. I just watched “Don’t Breathe 2,” and man, it got me thinking about other movies that give you that same kind of intense, edge-of-your-seat feeling. So, I did what any normal person would do – I went down a rabbit hole, searching for similar films.
First, I started by just googling, you know, “movies like Don’t Breathe 2.” I found a couple of articles and lists that had some decent suggestions. One article even mentioned this movie called “Hush,” which, apparently, is a twist on the slasher genre. Sounds interesting, right? I jotted that one down.
Then I stumbled upon this website, I think it’s called Letterboxd. It’s like a social network for movie nerds, which I totally am. Anyway, I searched for “Don’t Breathe 2” on there, and it gave me a whole list of similar movies. It said there are like 77 films similar to it! 77! That’s a lot of movies to go through.

I also checked out some of the usual streaming sites, like Netflix and Amazon, to see what they recommended. I found a few more titles there. I was just clicking around, you know, seeing what popped up. It was kind of a mess, but I managed to put together a pretty solid list of movies to check out.
My Watchlist:
- “Hush” – obviously, I gotta see this one.
- Then, a bunch of others from that Letterboxd list. I picked out a few that sounded particularly good, based on their descriptions and ratings.
- A couple I found on the streaming sites, just based on their summaries.
Oh, and get this – while I was digging around, I found out that they might be making a “Don’t Breathe 3”! Apparently, Stephen Lang, the guy who plays the Blind Man, mentioned it in an interview. How crazy is that? I mean, I’m definitely gonna watch it if it comes out.
So yeah, that’s basically my journey down the “movies like Don’t Breathe 2” rabbit hole. It was a bit chaotic, but I think I ended up with a pretty good list. I’ve got plenty of suspenseful, thrilling movies to keep me busy for a while now. If you guys have any other recommendations, definitely let me know!
