Alright, listen up, y’all. You wanna watch some movies like that “Bone Collector” one? You know, the one with that fella, Denzel somethin’-somethin’? Yeah, that one. It’s all about killin’ and mysteries and stuff. I seen a bunch of them myself, and I can tell ya, some are good, some are just plain garbage.
So, first off, if you like that “Bone Collector” movie, you probably like them thrillers. The kind that keep you guessin’ who did the deed, you know? Movies where you’re sittin’ on the edge of your seat, thinkin’ “Whoa, what’s gonna happen next?”. I ain’t got much patience for slow movies, so if it ain’t movin’ fast, I ain’t watchin’ it. That “Bone Collector” fella, Denzel, he’s a smart one in that movie, all crippled up but still figurin’ things out. You want smart detectives? I got some ideas for ya.
One movie I saw, can’t quite remember the name, but it was somethin’ about “Taking Lives“. Yeah, that was it. This fella, he goes around killin’ folks and then pretendin’ to be them. Creepy stuff, real creepy. It had me jumpin’ a few times, I tell ya. You watchin’ it at night, you might wanna leave a light on, just in case. You know how it is, some of these movies, they get in your head.
Then there’s them psychological thrillers. Them’s the ones that mess with your mind. Like that “Shutter Island” movie. Man, that one had me confused till the very end. You think you know what’s goin’ on, and then bam! They throw you a curveball. Another one like that is “Identity”. All these folks stuck in a motel, and they start gettin’ killed off one by one. You tryin’ to figure out who the killer is, and it turns out… well, I ain’t gonna spoil it for ya. But it’s a doozy.

- If you just want a good old-fashioned murder mystery, where the detective is chasin’ clues, there’s plenty of those too.
I watched this other movie, “Gone Girl”. Now that one was somethin’ else. A wife goes missin’, and everyone thinks the husband did it. But things ain’t always what they seem, are they? That movie kept me guessin’ right up until the very end. It was one of them movies where you don’t know who to trust. Everybody’s got secrets, and you just gotta sit there and wait for it all to come out.
And if you don’t mind readin’ them little words at the bottom of the screen, there’s tons of foreign murder mysteries out there too. I seen a few of them, from all over the place. Some are good, some are… well, let’s just say I needed a nap after. But if you want somethin’ different, somethin’ you ain’t seen before, them foreign flicks are worth a shot. Just make sure you got your glasses on, cause them words can be mighty small.
Now, if you got Netflix, you’re in luck. They got a whole bunch of these crime thrillers, as they call ‘em. You can spend all day just scrollin’ through, lookin’ for somethin’ to watch. I like the ones with a good twist, you know? The ones where you don’t see it comin’. And it gotta have a good endin’. I hate it when a movie just stops, and you’re left there thinkin’ “Wait, what just happened?”.
So, there you have it. A whole mess of movies like that “Bone Collector” one. You got your thrillers, your psychological thrillers, your murder mysteries, and even them foreign ones. Just remember, if you want a good movie, you gotta be willin’ to look around a bit. And don’t be afraid to try somethin’ new. You might just find somethin’ you really like. Now, some folks like movies with lots of action, shootin’ and car chases and such. But me, I like a movie that gets in your head a little bit. You know, one that makes you think. And it gotta have a good story. I don’t care about all them fancy special effects, just give me a good story and I’m happy. If the detective is smart and the plot is twisty and the ending surprises you, then you got yourself a winner in my book.
