Okay, so the other day I was digging around for something new to watch, and I was like, “I want something like ‘I Am Number Four’.” You know, that movie with the aliens hiding out on Earth, cool powers, and a bit of teen drama mixed in? So, I started my little mission to find similar stuff.
My Movie Hunt
First, I jumped onto my computer. My go-to move is usually to just Google something like “movies similar to I am number four”. I typed that in, and boom, a whole bunch of lists and suggestions popped up.
I started clicking through some of the results. Some of them were, other were kind of misses. I jotted down a few names that sounded promising:

After I had my list, I went to a few streaming services that I use. I use the search bar to find these movies one by one.
I watched some trailers. This is key, because sometimes a movie sounds good on paper, but the trailer is a total turn-off.
Finally, I picked one that looked good– “Jumper”. I grabbed some snacks, got comfy on the couch, and hit play.
