Okay, so the other day I was trying to find some movies similar to “National Lampoon’s Vacation” because, you know, that movie is a classic! I wanted that same kind of goofy, family-road-trip-gone-wrong vibe.
First, I opened up my trusty web browser. I usually default to Google, I just find that easier. I typed in “movies like National Lampoon’s Vacation” into the search bar and hit enter.
My Search Process
I scrolled through a bunch of results. Honestly, a lot of them were just lists on movie websites or blog-type things. I skipped past all the ads, of course, because who has time for those?
- I found some promising titles. I wrote them down.
- Some of the suggestions were pretty obvious, like other movies in the “Vacation” series.
- I saw a few that I’d already seen, so I mentally crossed those off the list.
Then I started digging a little deeper. I opened a few of the articles, reading the short summaries. If description looks good, I added it to my potential watch list.
I spent, I don’t know, maybe 30 minutes doing this? It wasn’t a super in-depth research project or anything, just a casual search for something fun to watch.
