Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your instructions and example:
So, I wanted to mess around with getting obituaries from this “Alpine Avalanche” thing. I’d heard about it, sounded kinda morbid, but hey, I was curious. It’s all about digging into data, right?
Getting Started
First, I just poked around online. I mean, who wouldn’t? I just typed “alpine avalanche obituaries” into a search bar. I wasn’t expecting much, just wanted to see what was out there.

Digging In
I looked around on that webpage to inspect how it’s set up. The page loaded information slowly, so it had me wondering how it pulled all that data. I figured that If I can get this right, I can collect the information and look at it separately.
Figuring It Out
I’m no coding wizard, I copied and pasted some examples i found online to see how it pulls information and displayed it, after a few tries, it did what i wanted to, I was buzzing!
What I Learned
- Persistence is key. Seriously, I almost gave up a few times. It was frustrating!
- Simple is good. I didn’t need any fancy tools.
- It’s okay to not know everything. I’m still a newbie at this, and that’s fine.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the Alpine Avalanche obituaries. It wasn’t groundbreaking, but I learned a few things, and that’s what matters. Maybe I’ll try something more complicated next time. Who knows!
