Okay, so today I wanted to dig into something I’ve been seeing pop up a lot: “Michelle Lafrance Paul Novak.” I was like, “Who are these people and what’s the connection?” So, I started, you know, just poking around.
My Little Investigation
First, I typed their names into a search engine. Just a simple search to see what would come up.
- I saw a bunch of academic-looking stuff. Papers, citations, that kind of thing. Definitely not my usual cup of tea.
- I noticed a few mentions of psychology and maybe some therapy-related topics. Getting warmer, I guess.
- I found reaserch about emotion-focused therapy.
Then, I started filtering my search a bit. I added terms like “research” and “collaboration” to see if I could narrow things down. It seemed like these two might have worked together on some projects, so I focused on that.

I spent a good hour just clicking around, reading little snippets here and there. Honestly, it was a bit of a maze. Lots of information, but not always super clear what it all meant together.
Finally, I stumbled across a few pages that seemed to be about specific research papers or studies they’d done. I tried to piece together the main ideas. It looked like they were both interested in areas like, you know, how people experience emotions, and maybe some specific types of therapy.
I even found one study they did together. After checking it, I realized that they are researching together.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at. It’s not like I cracked some big code or anything. But I feel like I have a slightly better understanding of who these people are and what they’re about.
