Alright, let’s talk about this “Drops of God” thing, episode four, you know? I ain’t no fancy wine person, but I watched it, so I’ll tell ya what I saw.
So, this whole thing is about this wine contest, right? Camille and Issei, they’re fightin’ over this big fancy wine collection some dead rich guy left behind. And this Alexandre fella, he’s the dead guy’s… well, he’s the daddy of one of ’em, I think. It’s all a bit messy, like a hen house after a fox got in.
Episode four, they’re still at it, this competition. Seems like Camille, she ain’t doin’ so good at first. The recap thingy I read said she “didn’t start with the right foot.” Well, that’s just like my old mule, Bess. Stubborn as a… well, you know. But Camille, she’s got more comin’, they say. Guess she ain’t givin’ up just yet.
- One thing I liked, though, was the clothes. Sounds silly, I know, but them folks were dressed real nice. Made that Alexandre fella look more like a real person, not just some rich snob. The recap thingy said the “wardrobe doesn’t get enough attention.” Well, I’m payin’ attention! I like a good-lookin’ outfit, even if it’s just on the TV.
Then there’s this whole daddy drama. Seems like Issei’s daddy ain’t really his daddy, or somethin’ like that. It’s Alexandre, the dead guy’s friend, or maybe more than a friend. Confusin’, I tell ya. And now this Issei fella, he knows the truth. And his real daddy, Hirokazu, he’s feelin’ bad ’cause he thinks he let his wife and son down. It’s all a big ol’ mess, like a spilled bucket of milk.
The story also talked about this “thirteenth wine,” the “Drops of God.” But they never say what it is! Just that everyone’s got their own special wine, ’cause everyone likes different stuff. That makes sense, I guess. I like my dandelion wine, and you might like somethin’ else. It’s all the same, long as it tastes good.
Oh, and they got these colors on the screen. Green means someone won the round, picked the right wine. It’s like a game show, but with fancy wine and sad daddies.
And poor Camille, she can’t even drink the wine without gettin’ sick. Nosebleeds and all! It’s tied to some bad memory, somethin’ about her mama, Marianne. Sounds like she had a rough time, that girl. Life ain’t always easy, that’s for sure.
So, what’s gonna happen next? I don’t know, but I reckon there’s more drama comin’. More wine tastin’, more daddy problems, and maybe Camille will finally figure out how to win this whole thing. I’ll keep watchin’, even if I don’t understand all the fancy wine talk. It’s like watchin’ a soap opera, but with grapes instead of gossip.
It’s entertainin’ enough, though. Keeps me from starin’ at the chickens all day. And who knows, maybe I’ll learn a thing or two about wine. Probably not, but a girl can dream, right?
Anyway, that’s what I got from episode four. Hope it makes some sense. It’s a lot to take in for an old woman like me, all this fancy wine and family secrets. But hey, at least it’s somethin’ to talk about.
