Well now, lemme tell ya about this thing they call the Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale. It’s a type of beer, they say, and it’s brewed by some folks over at Concrete Beach Brewery in that fancy place called Miami. Never been there myself, but I heard it’s all sunny and warm down there, real different from the chilly mornings we got here.
Now, this beer, it ain’t like your regular ol’ light beer. It’s got a bit more body to it, you know? They call it an American Amber or Red Ale, which I reckon means it’s got a nice rich color to it, a bit of a reddish hue. When I looked at it, it reminded me of the way the sun looks when it’s just about to set behind the hills. Real pretty.
The taste, you ask? Well, it’s got some spice in it, I hear. Not the kind of spice that makes you sweat or makes your tongue burn, but a nice little kick, just enough to let you know it’s got some character. They don’t really tell you all the spices they use, but I’d say it’s probably got a little bit of cinnamon or maybe some nutmeg—those warm, cozy kind of spices. Gives it a real smooth, sweet finish, I think. Like a warm hug after you been out in the cold for too long.
Now, I ain’t seen no one post any fancy notes or reviews about this drink yet, but if you ask me, it sounds like something you’d want to sip on when the weather’s nice and you’re sittin’ outside, watchin’ the world go by. You could enjoy it by itself or maybe with a good meal, like a roast chicken or some hearty stew. Something to balance out that little bit of spice it’s got, you know?
So, who’s behind this Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale, you ask? Well, it’s made by Concrete Beach Brewery, and that’s part of the Coney Island Brewing Company folks. Them folks must know what they’re doin’, ’cause it sounds like they’ve put together a real good brew. I reckon they ain’t the type to just throw something together without thinkin’ it through. There’s craft and care in it, like how you’d make a homemade pie—slow and steady, with the right ingredients.
If you’re ever down Miami way and you’re lookin’ to try somethin’ different, give it a go. I hear tell it’s not somethin’ you find every day. They say it’s an “excursion ale,” which sounds mighty fancy, but I think it just means it’s got some adventure in every sip. So, don’t be shy, try it out and see if it’s your kind of drink.
And that’s all I got for ya on the Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale. Real good stuff if you ask me, and I ain’t even a big beer drinker! But I know a good story when I hear one, and this here beer’s got one to tell.
