Brass Roots After Shark Tank: Where Are They Now?

Brass Roots After Shark Tank: Where Are They Now?

Alright, so, you wanna hear about this Brass Roots thing after they went on that Shark Tank show? I watched it, you know, with my old eyes and all. It was somethin’ else.

This fella, Aaron Gailmor, he’s the one who started it all. Seems like his daddy had some heart trouble, and other folks in his family got the sugar sickness, you know, diabetes. So, he got to thinkin’ about eatin’ healthy. That’s how Brass Roots was born, back in 2019, down in Kenner, wherever that is. They make snacks, the kind you’re supposed to feel good about eatin’.

So, Aaron, he goes on this Shark Tank show in Season 14, Episode 12. I think that was back in January 2023, or maybe a bit later. Anyway, he’s standin’ there, tryin’ to get them rich folks on the show to give him some money for his business. He talked and talked, but you know what? Them sharks, they didn’t bite. Not a single one of ‘em gave him a deal. Can you believe that? I was sittin’ there, thinkin’, “Well, shoot, that’s the end of that.”

Brass Roots After Shark Tank: Where Are They Now?
  • No money from the sharks
  • But Aaron, he’s a stubborn one, I tell ya.
  • He didn’t just give up.

He went right back to work, thinkin’ hard about how to make his Brass Roots better. He even changed the place where they make the snacks, went to a smaller one, at the end of 2023. And wouldn’t you know it, that helped a whole lot.

Even though he didn’t get no money from them sharks, things started lookin’ up for Brass Roots after that show. People saw him on TV, and they wanted to try them snacks. Sales went right up! Now, you can find Brass Roots snacks in all sorts of fancy stores, like Whole Foods, Sprouts, and that Erewhon place. I heard tell they’re plannin’ on gettin’ into even more stores, like maybe 1,500 or even 2,000 more by the end of 2024. That’s a whole lotta snacks, I reckon.

Aaron, he’s a smart fella. He keeps workin’ hard, always thinkin’ about how to make things better. He calls himself the “Founder & Chief Eats Officer,” which sounds mighty important, don’t it? He’s always checkin’ how they make the snacks, makin’ sure they’re good. He’s always fixin’ and changin’ things, never standin’ still. That’s how you get things done, I guess. You gotta keep pushin’ forward, even when things get tough.

So, that’s the story of Brass Roots after Shark Tank. No deal, but they still made it. Shows you what hard work and a good idea can do. Makes you think, maybe you don’t always need them fancy sharks to get ahead. Sometimes, all you need is a little grit and a whole lotta heart. And maybe some tasty snacks, too.

I tell ya, it’s a good story. Makes me wanna go out and buy some of them Brass Roots snacks myself. See what all the fuss is about. Maybe they’ll help this old body of mine feel a little bit better, too. Who knows? Worth a try, I reckon.

Anyway, that’s all I got to say about it. Just a fella with a dream and some snacks, makin’ it happen, one bite at a time. Good for him, I say. Good for him.
