Alright, let’s gab about this Blowzee thing, you know, that thing for blowin’ out candles. Folks been askin’ if it’s still around, so let’s get to it.
What’s this Blowzee thingamajig anyway?
Well, it’s like a little fan, y’see? For blowin’ out birthday candles. Blew up big after bein’ on that Shark Tank show. Them sharks, they kinda liked it, thought it was funny, but weren’t too sure if it’d make a whole lotta money. But folks, they went crazy for it, at least for a bit, you know, like when a new pie shop opens in town.
So, is it still kickin’ or did it bite the dust?
Here’s the thing, last I heard, it ain’t around no more. Yep, that’s right. Blowzee is gone. Kaput. Finished. Don’t know exactly why, but these things happen. Sometimes folks just stop buyin’ stuff, or maybe they couldn’t make enough to keep the lights on. It’s like that ol’ mule we had, worked hard for a while, then just couldn’t no more. Had to let him go to pasture, rest his bones. Same with Blowzee, I reckon.

Now, them folks on Shark Tank, they gave those Blowzee fellas some money, hundred thousand dollars, I heard. But that don’t always mean a thing. Throwin’ money at somethin’ don’t always make it fly, y’know? Like plantin’ seeds in bad soil. Might get a sprout or two, but ain’t gonna be no harvest. Those sharks, they were worried about it from the get-go. Said maybe folks wouldn’t be buyin’ these blowers for long. Guess they were right, huh?

- Then, pfft, nothin’.
How much was it worth, anyway?
Now, I ain’t got no fancy book learnin’ to figure that out. But they never said how much Blowzee was worth. Kept it hush-hush, like a secret recipe. But I figure if it ain’t around no more, it wasn’t worth a whole heck of a lot in the end. Just like that box of rusty tools in the shed. Used to be worth somethin’, now just takin’ up space.
So, what happened? Why’d it go belly up?
Well, nobody told me straight out, but I can guess. Maybe folks just didn’t need it. I mean, how hard is it to blow out candles yourself? Unless you got the lungs of a sparrow, you can do it, right? Or maybe other folks started makin’ similar things, cheaper maybe. Or maybe they just ran outta money. Happens all the time. Businesses open, businesses close. Like that diner down the road, used to make the best apple pie, then poof, gone. Just like Blowzee.

So, there you have it. Blowzee ain’t blowin’ no more candles. It’s a done deal. Like a finished quilt, all stitched up and put away. Maybe somebody will come up with a new fangled candle blower, maybe they won’t. But for now, you just gotta use your own hot air, same as we always did.
And that’s the story, as best as I can tell it. No fancy words, no big city talk. Just plain and simple, like a good cup of coffee. Blowzee’s gone, and that’s all there is to it.
Blowzee Update 2024 Well, as far as I can tell, things haven’t changed. Still gone. Like a lost sock in the wash, ain’t comin’ back.
