Blood Free Ending: Your Biggest Questions Finally Answered Here

Okay, so I finally finished watching “Blood Free” and wow, what a ride! I started watching it because I was really intrigued by the whole lab-grown meat premise. A company called BF has cornered the market on this stuff, and there’s a bunch of suspicious stuff going on. It’s a 10-episode Korean drama, so I thought, why not?

I jumped right in, and the first few episodes really hooked me. The tension, the mystery, it was all so well done. I was on the edge of my seat, trying to figure out who was behind all these incidents and what was really going on at BF. The main character, Ja-yoo, she’s the CEO, and she’s got this bodyguard, Chae-woon. Their dynamic is interesting, you know? There’s a lot of mistrust at first, but you can see them slowly starting to rely on each other.

As I watched more, I started to realize that Ja-yoo wasn’t just some cold-hearted businesswoman. She actually seemed to care about making a difference. It’s all very dramatic, with lots of twists and turns. I was constantly guessing who was a good guy and who was a bad guy.

The Ending

Then came the ending, episode 10. Man, I don’t even know where to begin. It was like they took everything they had been building up and just threw it out the window! It was messy, poorly written, and just plain confusing.

Here’s what I think happened:

  • Ja-yoo and Chae-woon, they make it out alive. I think.
  • Chae-woon ends up unconscious in the BF lab, which is weird.
  • We hear Ja-yoo’s voice, but we don’t see her.
  • Someone called “Jang Yeongsil.” is mentioned, but I’m not really sure the implication of this.

I spent so much time invested in this show, and the ending just left me feeling disappointed. It was like they didn’t know how to wrap it up properly. I’ve been sitting here thinking about it, and it’s just a mess. The cure that they made worked, but it’s not clear about the patients who are sick. They hinted at a second season, but honestly, after that ending, I don’t know if I even care. Has anyone else seen it? What did you think of the ending?

They didn’t announce the second season in April 2024, but maybe they will announce it in the future. I will wait to see it.

It’s a shame because the show had so much potential. The acting was great, the premise was interesting, but that ending… it just ruined it for me. Oh well, on to the next one, I guess.
