Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about them TV shows, ya know, the ones like that Secret Invasion thingy.
Now, I ain’t no fancy TV critic or nothin’, but I watch my fair share of shows when I ain’t busy with the chickens and the garden. So, if you liked that Secret Invasion, with all them sneaky spies and whatnot, lemme tell ya, there’s more where that came from.
First off, there’s this Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Folks say it’s kinda like Secret Invasion, with all the secret agent stuff. Lots of action, people running around, shootin’ and whatnot. It went on for a good long while, so plenty to watch if you got the time. It’s got them secret agents, just like that Nick Fury fella in Secret Invasion. He’s always got somethin’ up his sleeve, that one. This show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it’s about a bunch of folks workin’ for this S.H.I.E.L.D. outfit, fightin’ bad guys and keepin’ the world safe. You know, the usual.
Then there’s this other show, they call it Covert Affairs. Now, this one’s about spies too, but it’s got a lady spy as the main character. She’s good, real good. Sneaky and smart, just like them fellas in Secret Invasion. It’s got all that spy stuff, ya know, secret missions, dangerous places, the whole shebang. If you like watchin’ folks be all sneaky and clever, this is your kinda show. They go all over the world, doin’ spy stuff. It’s exciting, keeps you on the edge of your seat, just like when you’re waitin’ for the rooster to crow in the mornin’ but it’s already past sunrise.
And if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ a bit different, but still with that superhero kinda feel, like Secret Invasion, there’s WandaVision and Captain Marvel. Now, WandaVision, that’s a weird one. It’s about this lady who can do magic and her robot husband. It ain’t exactly spies, but it’s got that superhero connection and it’s kinda mind-bendy, makes you think. Captain Marvel, on the other hand, that’s more action-packed. She’s a powerful lady, flyin’ around, fightin’ bad guys in space and whatnot. Both of these got that Marvel connection, just like Secret Invasion, so you might like ’em. They both got folks with powers, kinda like how them Skrulls in Secret Invasion can change their faces. Freaky stuff, I tell ya.
Folks also talkin’ about another one they call Invasion. Now, this ain’t got no superheroes, but it’s got aliens. Scary lookin’ aliens, comin’ to Earth and causin’ trouble. It’s sci-fi, like them superhero shows, but with a different kinda twist. If you like that “end of the world” kinda stuff, this might be up your alley. It’s about regular folks tryin’ to survive when the world’s goin’ crazy. Kinda like tryin’ to keep the squirrels outta the cornfield, only a whole lot more serious.
And let’s not forget that there are lots of shows on them things like Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, and Disney+. They got all sorts of stuff, spy shows, superhero shows, alien shows, you name it. Just gotta poke around and see what catches your eye. It’s like goin’ to the farmers market, so many choices you don’t know where to start.

Remember this ain’t no fancy review, just an old woman’s opinion. Take it or leave it, it don’t matter none to me. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch, these shows ain’t half bad. And that’s the truth, as sure as the sun rises in the east.
