Alright, so I’ve been on this huge podcast kick lately, and I finally finished “Limetown” – blew my mind! Naturally, I needed more like it, stat. So, I started digging around, figured I’d share my little adventure and what I found.
My “Limetown-Like” Podcast Hunt
First, I just straight-up asked good ol’ Google. I typed in something like, “podcasts similar to Limetown”. I just use my own simple words to search for things without any special term.
Then, I started looking through the search results.

- I skimmed through some articles that popped up – you know, the “Top 10 Podcasts…” kind of stuff.
- I jotted down any podcast names that seemed interesting. I didn’t overthink it, just anything that gave off a similar vibe.
After I had a decent little list, I started checking them out. Usually, I’d listen to the trailer or maybe the first 10-15 minutes of an episode. If it didn’t grab me by then, I’d move on. No point wasting time, right?
Here are some of the podcasts that I tested and thought might be worth checking out:
- “The Black Tapes”: Okay, this one kept popping up. It’s got that investigative journalism feel, creepy stuff happening, mysterious organization… yeah, it’s in the ballpark.
- “Rabbits”: Another one from the same folks as “The Black Tapes,” apparently. It’s about a missing person and a weird ARG (alternate reality game). I dig the mystery element, so I’ll give it a shot.
- “TANIS”: I find this podcast in some forum, it also created by the same people, sound great for me, I will check it next week.
So yeah, that’s basically my process. Nothing fancy, just some good old-fashioned searching and listening. Hope this helps someone else find their next podcast obsession!
